My Maison In Paris - Sentier

WARNING: do not use My Maison in Paris due to illegal business practices. * a few days before you arrive they email you to say you must pay a large deposit or lose your booking * after departure they only returned half the deposit due to "increases in tourist tax". * the amount of tax they charged was exorbitant and is being investigated by the Paris Tourist Tax office. * they have done this to many customers-DON'T GET CAUGHT -BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Its location is so friendly to reach metro and railway station. Quiet spot. So many food choice around. Affordable room rate. Clean and comfy. Even though it doesn’t have a bar and a restaurant on site, there are two nice cafe next door. Will love to come bake to here in my next trip to Paris.

Super nice studio, very nicely furnished. Clean and comfortable. Fully equipped small kitchen, tv printer wifi, and a bathroom with a super nice shower. To complete a small inside patio with table and chairs. Self check in and self check out very easy.

Amazing location and value for money. We had only 1 night but we really enjoyed it, the beds were comfy, we had a little terrace and the whole building felt very secure and the double doors were great for sound proofing. There is a monoprix 5 min away. We will be back. Recommend ++

Arrived with my husband excited to spend 10 nights in Paris. The apar**ent was a total let down. When we arrived just by coincidence a manager was there to help us with the entry. If she had not been it would have been a total hassle getting in. Then she literally pointed to the unit and that was all. She never showed us anything. Where the central light switch was, where the book of instructions for the unit was, etc., absolutely nothing. No assistance at all. Perhaps this was because the unit was dark, small and dank and she knew it. What a shock! We immediately asked to be moved, and was willing to pay extra for an upgrade, or give us our money back and we would go somewhere else. They refused to return our money and the next day( after a horrible night), we moved to an adjacent unit that was only slightly better and brighter. For the amount of money charged we expected to have to have somewhere to put our clothes other than living out of a suitcase on the floor. Barely could fit in the shower, and seeing anything was a challenge because it was so dark. The patio was, ugly and bare with exposed pipes to look at. Went days without internet because never could find the manager, and when finally did was told password was on the wall. Maybe you could have told us that when we checked in? This was not the first time we rented an apar**ent in Paris. The other experience was perfect. This was a joke! Stay away from all the garden apar**ents unless you want to stay in a cave!!

One minute away from a great no-car street, Montorgueil, with lots of dining options. Property was great and the whole process went flawlessly.

My Maison in Paris, Sentier, is a charming, cozy, well-equipped little apar**ent. It was very comfortable (I got the best nights' of sleep of my three-week European trip here!). The air conditioner worked great for us cold-loving New Yorkers. The instructions for getting in the building were clear and shared ahead of time. We were also able to contact someone immediately for help (we arrived early). There was a gentleman in the building who helped us carry our bags up - he was very kind. The location was perfect - close to restaurants, shopping, and the Metro, but off the major streets and quiet in the evening. In all, we had an ideal stay!
