Hotels near FNAC Paris - Gare Châtelet in Paris

It was very close to Chatelet Station, and there was Five Guys and all the places to eat in front, so it was convenient. The room inside is small, but it has everything you need! It was especially nice to make and eat ramen because there were utensils for easy cooking. I think the Citadines Hotel has the best advantage. However, the level of hotel service was not great, and I think you can go after looking at these two factors: cost-effectiveness and the ability to eat hammocks!

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! On this trip to Paris, I was very worried about where to stay near the Eiffel Tower, but I really liked staying at the Novotel Real at Châtelet Station. First of all, the staff are very friendly, the hotel accommodations and bedding are all clean, and the rooms are cleaned every day! First of all, the accommodation itself was very nice. Also, there is an elevator that goes down to Châtelet Station right in front of the hotel, so you can go anywhere by going down, and it was really convenient to go to the airport all at once. Additionally, there were Korean restaurants, K-Mart, Five Guys, McDonald's, and Burger King all nearby the bakery in front, so it was really very convenient. Even when going to the Eiffel Tower, it's okay because you can take the bus or train within 10-15 minutes. I will stay here again when I go to Paris!

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

The rooms were small but clean. There were small cubes where to save your stuff but not even a carry on would fit there. The private bathrooms were ok but there were no towels to even dry my hands on or to step out the shower afterwards, so everything was a bit wet. Sometimes I could not get it into the common bathrooms for some reason and I know I was not the only one (problems with hostel card) We asked whether they could add us all to the same 4-bed room since we were 3. They said they could and afterwards they did not 'by mistake' so this was a bit disappointing. The place in general was awesome, it was very nice, clean, friendly staff. They also have lockers where to store your luggage if needed. Breakfast was a bit expensive but totally worth it. Location was convenient since there is a metro station just around the corner, so it was pretty easy to move around such a big city. I would probably go again.

We arrived very early in Paris, on July 3, with my husband and my daughters (16 and 17 years old) it was 7 in the morning, on a Monday, and they allowed us to leave our bags, use the bathroom, to be able to go for a walk. comfortable around the city until our check-in time. They even told us that they would do their best to give us our room earlier than planned. We stayed in a family room, immaculate. With a two-stage bathroom, wardrobe / closet, desk, a very large TV, air conditioning (essential in summer), minibar, coffee maker (Nespresso). The reception staff are very friendly but above all efficient. At the reception there are snacks and drinks free of charge for the guest, they treated us very well and were very respectful. We checked out and were able to leave our bags to enjoy our last day in the city lightly, they hired us a taxi that would take us to the airport and we were able to wait for the car at the reception. I would go back with my family without hesitation. Many thanks to all the staff at Hotel Mogador.

The hotel's entrance is not obvious, but the location is very good, very close to the Louvre, Lafayette is not far away, go out to the shopping street, there are Giorgio Ar***i, Louis Vitton, Chloe, Celine and so on. The hotel bathroom and bathing area are separate and the facilities are modern. Some rooms can accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast is Western food, good quality, if you can have a little Chinese food, after all, there are quite a lot of Chinese people. Wenhua's service is as good as ever. Going to Paris later is still the first choice.
