Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel

Champs Elysées Paris|1.37km from Brésil Pluriel - Cours de Portugais Brésilien sur Skype - Learn Portuguese
I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review but had to go with 4. The hotel itself is located a short 3 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro station. The property is very nice and the staff was excellent, English was really spoken as were many other languages. The breakfast was excellent, I'd recommend the package with breakfast included. Two reasons for the one star reduction. First, the hotel has 2 elevators. One was foam when we checked in and had been for some time. Having one elevator in a hotel with 118 rooms becomes problematic at busy times and we waited for 5 elevators more than once. It looks like either the elevator was damaged by water or mechanical or a renovation was planned, but.. I think it was the former as a renovation is done and workers are present and the situation scheduled. This was just a sign and apologies. The second issue was one evening we came back to the hotel from a day out all day to find our bathroom had 1 towel, not a full size but a bath mat sized towel. We were informed their towel service didn't return the towels that day. We baked and a second small towel showed up but, that was not well planned out. The GM did apologize profusely, but it seemed like poor inventory control to hand zero stock on hand. Otherwise, great location, fantastic staff, rooms are decent sized and well appointed. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants and cafes, they are all knowledge

I can't fault this hotel at all. What a find! I spoke on the phone a week before to check if it was OK to check in late as we were coming in on a late train. The lady on the phone was friendly and said this was fine and checked my details to make sure a note was left. When we arrived on the night, around 10pm, the lady on reception was so nice and welcoming. She said our room had been upgraded too and gave us complimentary Easter chocolates! We couldn't have asked for a better welcome! Our room was on the 7th floor, the highest, and we had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. The room I had booked was premium but this was the next one up due to the upgrade. We had a marble bathroom with both a shower and a bath including robes and slippers! The bed was really comfy and the room came with an aircon unit so the temperature was always comfortable. Unfortunately for myself, I had developed a nasty rash on my foot from lots of walking so had to stay in the room the next day and cancel our tour of the Eiffel Tower. My husband asked reception if they had a first aid kit and the same lady provided us with bandages, an anti bacterial spray and gave him info for a local pharmacy. The kindness expressed during this time cannot go unnoticed and I'm sorry I didn't get the name of her. If you're reading this, thank you very much! She asked on check out if I was better, I was! You made it less stressful during an unfortunate time so thank you so much for making me feel more at ease. We didn't have breakfast here but the restaurant looked nice. Thank you once again, would definitely recommend to everyone!

The location is very good, I checked in at 2pm. There are a lot of places to eat around and the service attitude is good. The main thing is the bed sheets. You can smell the fresh smell after washing. I must have changed them to new sheets, and the bed is very comfortable. Already recommended to friends, will come again next time.

The hotel must be booked by car, it is too far from the subway station, the night road on the return trip is a little disturbed, after all, the local is hard to say. This is insufficient environmental hardware. But there is a leclerc supermarket across the street, full of temporary needs. Staying enthusiastic, just have to wait for a while. The rooms are not large or small, and the design is consistent with the style of Accor N stores, which are more used to it. The price / performance ratio may not be expensive due to the location, far from the city center, and all attractions and traffic points. But it takes time to travel. The equipment is not too old in other respects, and it is acceptable to stay. The air is also okay, the view is on the side of the main road, which is relatively wide, but the building is irregular, so the rooms have different sizes. See the purpose of the line. On the way, I encountered locals to show the way, so I didn't take too many wrong paths. Breakfast is also consistent, bread is unique to France, but drinks are not fresh and fruits are average. The coffee is average, but the new kusmi has a lot of tea. There is no automatic coffee machine in the room, but I got a bottle of Evian.

The location was excellent. The room was very clean, though very small. The staff were very friendly. I didn't pay for breakfast, but I could have free coffee and tea every morning. The metro station was 1min far, however always check for the metro construction not to miss your train or flight.

The receptionist was very nice! I made a ridiculous mistake, but he responded flexibly. I stayed in a single room for business. Unlike Japan, there were no toothbrushes, slippers, conditioners, pigment wash, or room clothes. So I think you should bring them with you. The interior was very beautiful and I was able to spend a relaxing time. Very reasonable and recommended.
