Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel

Champs Elysées Paris|0.35km from Cathedrale Saint-Alexandre-Nevsky
I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review but had to go with 4. The hotel itself is located a short 3 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro station. The property is very nice and the staff was excellent, English was really spoken as were many other languages. The breakfast was excellent, I'd recommend the package with breakfast included. Two reasons for the one star reduction. First, the hotel has 2 elevators. One was foam when we checked in and had been for some time. Having one elevator in a hotel with 118 rooms becomes problematic at busy times and we waited for 5 elevators more than once. It looks like either the elevator was damaged by water or mechanical or a renovation was planned, but.. I think it was the former as a renovation is done and workers are present and the situation scheduled. This was just a sign and apologies. The second issue was one evening we came back to the hotel from a day out all day to find our bathroom had 1 towel, not a full size but a bath mat sized towel. We were informed their towel service didn't return the towels that day. We baked and a second small towel showed up but, that was not well planned out. The GM did apologize profusely, but it seemed like poor inventory control to hand zero stock on hand. Otherwise, great location, fantastic staff, rooms are decent sized and well appointed. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants and cafes, they are all knowledge

Maison Albar Hotels Le Diamond

Paris|1.59km from Cathedrale Saint-Alexandre-Nevsky
We have just returned from an amazing stay at Maison Albar Le Diamond and can't help but share our unforgettable experience. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by smiling and attentive staff, ready to satisfy our every need. Their hospitality was outstanding throughout my stay. The decor of the hotel was just beautiful. Every corner was carefully thought out, creating an elegant and soothing atmosphere. The artistic details and choice of colors added a touch of sophistication to the whole establishment. The rooms were spotlessly clean and offered absolute comfort. The bed was cozy and the modern amenities allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay to the fullest. We were also impressed with the overall cleanliness of the hotel, from the lobby to the common areas, everything was impeccably maintained. However, what really made the difference was the exceptional staff at the hotel. The manager, Jihad, was always present during the day, personally ensuring that every detail was taken care of to make our stay memorable. His kindness and professionalism are to be commended. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Doudou, a truly fabulous member of staff. His considerate attitude and his dedication during a small technical incident are to be underlined. He provided us with personalized service that made our stay truly special. Also to highlight, the remarkable breakfast that was offered. A real banquet for the taste buds, it offered an incredible choice of savory and sweet dishes. Different cereals, fresh fruits, a variety of fresh juices, as well as different breads and baguettes which were just very good. Also the coffee served was well made from a well known brand (What Else?) which added an extra touch to our morning dining experience. It remains to say that the hotel is ideally located if you want to visit the great monuments and the Place de Paris...the Place de la Concorde, Place Vendôme, and other Faubourg St Honoré are 10-15 minutes away. feet and the path that leads you there allows you to do some shopping. In conclusion, the hotel Maison Albar Le Diamond undoubtedly deserves all the praise. With warm and smiling service, magnificent decor, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms, this establishment exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. Thanks again to Jihad, Doudou and the whole team for their exceptional hospitality.

The hotel staff was an absolute nightmare because I specifically booked a superior double room for the preference of having a view towards the back side ( as I imagined they’d have a courtyard to look over to for more peace and quiet and for the larger space because I wanted to do some writing in the morning from my room and a tiny room doesn’t help with creativity) with 15sqm. Instead they initially offered me room 110 on the first floor which was facing the street side and was considerably smaller than the 15Sqm advertised as corresponding to a superior double room. After coming to the reception to notify them about the difference in standards, the receptionist admitted he didn’t give me a superior room (! Shocker!) and apologized and tried to look for an alternative but instead of finding a better one, he insulted me in french while talking his manager on the phone saying “the spoiled lady doesn’t like her room, what do we do with her?!” and offered me a room with a view to the back, just to discover it’s facing the dumpster. I literally felt treated like garbage and they used the fact that it was already close to midnight in trying to force to accept a second room on the ground floor, close to the breakfast area ( so complete disregard to my need of quiet sleep) and overseeing a dumpster area in their “backyard”. They cleverly used this argument in saying they have no responsibility to offer me another room and I can do whatever I want because the room charge is non refundable. They did this to others as well as it turns out because they lie about the number of superior rooms they have and they false advertise to get more money. They get called out by tourists for the small rooms but most end up not getting the value for money and would not go to sleep somewhere else like I did. This hotel is not renovated completely as they present in the pictures and when you get there and see the rooms you immediately realize why they force people to pay upfront. The level of cleanness and comfort is very low. The beds had really bad mattress ( as I tested 1 for a few minuted before deciding this is not going to work for me). If you think it’s still worth going here because it’s the “Paris standards”, you’re wrong! Immediately after leaving the property I found a new place which didn’t false advertise and they even apologized they have 2 single beds that have not been united with the sheets to make it one big bed. It turns out there are better standards, this is just not one of those places!

We have good reasons to believe that the litter was infected with punishes (grouped bites aligned on the body, black traces on the matlas, cf photos. We stopped at a summary examination and did not return the whole room). We explained this photos in support of the reception, and we were answered that ”it is impossible, we have a contract, there can't be bed punishments here”, which shows on the one hand a complete ignorance of what punishments are of The hotel's receptionist (? manager) is a little bit of anthusiasm, and he is a lie from the beginning to the end. He will say to make check the room in the day and remind us, while he could have lifted up and seen the black traces in the matala's rains. He did not remember us, and the room is probably occupied at this time. There was no excuse draft, so we will not even talk about a commercial gesture for this stay we paid in advance. We have charged expenses for disinfestation of bags and their content, and hope that this is enough and that our business is not damaged by treatment. You also know that the hotel does not have a baggage order because of the covid (they have shown a government message at the reception) while no staff of the reception has a mask, This is a small detail in relation to the problem described above, but it gives a small idea of the philosophy of the places. The small dark room was a little vesty, medium clean, wasted and screwed moquette, little takes, but it would have been a good idea. Fly unless you like punishes and unpleasant people of course

The front desk service is very good and very nice, especially the lady, who helped me find the driver of the airport to be moved! Good location, very close to the Arc de Triomphe and Fragrant Street, but the street is very quiet when going back at night, you need to pay attention to safety. The rooms are quite large and the facilities are complete. It can be seen from some ages, but it does not affect the use. They are all very good, but they are not soundproof. Anyway, will stay next time!

Amazing staff and very friendly professional. The hotel was very clean, tidy, and the location is amazing. Very central. Second stay at this amazing small cozy hotel. Great breakfast and fresh Orange juice which I can’t get enough of. There is also a part 5 mins walk from the hotel and 27 mins walk you will be at the Champs Elysees and Eiffel Tower. Trains are very central, take the metro 2 from Gaud de nord to Courcelles where the hotel is located. Amazing restaurant close by and 10 mins walk too. Great bar and atmosphere. Shops, pharmacy’s, everything only a walk or two away. I love this place. But I love PARIS

Very nice hotel about 3 blocks from Arc de Triomphe. We walked to everything. Very clean and seems to be recently renovated with modern baths and electronics. The restaurant was just a bit minimalist. And, our experience with getting cars, etc. was so-so. Still, would choose it again as a reasonably-priced (for Paris!) 5-star property.
