Old glory place .. actually a great hotel structure, only 16 large rooms, a bit aged in terms of deco, furniture, amenities .. Very large and nice pool, private beach access .. with in theory a bar / beach house .. in theory as it was awkwardly and simply closed despite being full season. Huge personnel problem as not enough .. restaurant good but totally overpriced and untransparent regarding costs and prices… not exactly correct .. Neighbour beach unfortunately kind of party village beach with very loud (and terrible music and entertainment) .. no real walking possibilities around and the beachfront is totally run down. All rather sad. Voile and should be so much better considering the horrendous costs !

Quite the worst hotel we have been to. It boasts 5 Star but it is no where near that grading. The area is 5 Star but the resort not so. The breakfast was mediocre with flies all around open food, no lunch available, no dinner available, the beach bar was not open and neither of the two swimming pools were manned. The AC broke down and the sole representative on site (I think he was the owner) didn't know how to fix it. The web site makes many claims but be very careful as the words and deeds differ. Maybe it was because it was September but if so the booking should not have been accepted. A total shambles. The bed room was comfortable.

Appena tornata da una vacanza superlativa. Hotel bellissimo, spiaggia privata, piscina nel contesto di un parco stupendo e curatissimo. Il personale gentilissimo, ma anche i proprietari disponibili e cortesi, per non parlare poi della cucina, niente cibo di massa ( per intenderci buffet a perdere e di scarsissima qualità). Se si desidera una vacanza di riposo, per nulla assordante con animazioni di diverso tipo, questo è l’Hotel giusto. Lo straconsiglio, sicuramente ci torneremo.

Sono appena letteralmente scappato dal Porto Pirgos, peccato che questi imprenditori rovinino la nostra bellissima Calabria pensando unicamente agli incassi con prezzi spropositati non offrendo alcun servizio. Posto incantevole grazie alla sua ubicazione, ma mal gestito. Un vero peccato! La cena estremamente deludente per qualità e scelta, in un posto in cui ci si aspetterebbe del pesce fresco e ben preparato, ricordo che si spaccia per 5* ma molto meno di un 2*. In sostanza ho chiesto il conto a metà cena spostandomi altrove per cenare decentemente. Venite in Calabria,ma non qui. Sconsigliatissimo.

Hotel fantastico, si respira un aria magica, le camere sono arredate con gusto, anche se qualche pezzo di arredamento stona, forse vi è la mano di un nuovo architetto che fa a cazzotti con l'arredamento. La sala colazione e cena in terrazzo offrono tramonti e panorami indimenticabili, la sala sulla piscina è ben strutturata. Il tutto viene rovinato da una gestione troppo familiare poche persone, una decina, a servizio dell'intera struttura, mentre tu preparano la colazione spariscono per prendere un nuovo cliente con la macchinetta, un solo cameriere per tutta la sala. Per non parlare della sala TV diventata deposito personale in Vella vista. La gestione degli extra è un poco allegra. La parte mare è piscina mare è totalmente in abbandono il bagnino non esiste, sta nascosto nella pizzeria, la piscina mare è priva di ogni servizio e guardiania, non vi è una sedia dove posare un telo. Il bar mare abbandono ad una povera ragazza che alle 19 chiude e deve fare tutto dalle pulizie a servire il pranzo. I campi da tennis, praticamente inesistenti.

Semplicemente fantastico!Hotel da incanto per la posizione,per la spiaggia,per il cibo,per la cordialita’dello staff,le stanze sono superlative,con vista totale del golfo,le piscine sempre pulite dove i ns bambini si sono divertiti senza soste,nessun dubbio ci ritorneremo.

On est dans les années 50: hôtel style espagnol, bourré d’escaliers, de faux niveaux, des chambres d’un style tellement ringard., avec un patron vieux , ralenti et sans amabilité, , et qui vous prie de vous casser parce que notre babillage dérange la réceptionniste , des travaux d’entretien qui vous empêchent de profiter de la piscine, une « patronne » qui ne salue jamais ses clients. Un système d’accompagnement des clients plus que déficient (120 marches pour descendre et remonter de la plage). Et au départ un accident dû à une sortie plus que dangereuse de l’hôtel n’a pas mobilisé plus que ça nos hôteliers !! Et oser demander 500 frs suisses par jour pour ça …!!! Heureusement il y avait Luca: sympa et dévoué : merci Luca !!
