Valtos Beach Hotel

We stayed only for one night but it was really very nice. A great location with a beautiful outlook and great staff. We upgraded ( no great cost) to a suite as we had been travelling for a quite a while and actually wanted a proper bath. The room was huge , the bath was like a small jacuzzi and the balcony overlooked the beach . Perfect.

Didn't know anything about the area so had no real expectations... Wow, a lovely family run hotel. Fantastic staff, rooms cleaned daily. All sun loungers around the pool and on the beach are of 5 star quality. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Great choice with a station for omelette, scrambled egg etc.. Had lunch at the restaurant which was also superb... Drinks are well made and a reasonable price. There are a few steps so not ideal of any mobility issues or a pushchair . Walk or water taxi to Parga.. which is well worth visiting.

Yes this hotel is on the hill and there are lots of steps but the view was amazing. I have mobility issues and knew I was taking a risk when I booked it but so glad I made that choice. Our studio was very modern and spotlessly clean. The pool is only small but with the beach across the road we did not find this a problem. We never had breakfast so I cant comment. However we ate in the restaurant most nights and found the vast choice of food to be delicious and the service from the staff excellent. The walk up to the castle I found a little difficult but well worth the effort. The views of Parga town from there are breathtaking. If you are physically fit this is a fantastic place to stay. We loved it and provided my walking does not deteriorate we will definitely go back.

Had a lovely week there. Staff were amazing and the hotel was superb. Great views and right on the beach. There were quite alot of stairs to get to the room but parga is built around a mountain so expect to do alot of walking anyway. We would highly reccomend this hotel and would definately stay here again. (Would be even more amazing if you made it adults only hotel👍). Many thanks to all at valtos beach hotel.

Lovely seaside hotel, nice staff, clean surroundings, great breakfast, short walk to Parga center, great views from hotel, lovely beach area. Pool a bit small and crowded. Sunbeds reserved by beach towels all day long at beach and poolside.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. We had a studio room which was very nice. It was cleaned daily and was very comfortable. The best thing about the room however was the incredible panoramic view we had of the sea and Parga castle. It really was mesmerising! The only downside to our room was the WIFI was terrible. We couldn’t get any kind of signal at all inside the room, we had to sit on the balcony any time we wanted to check emails or browse the web which really wasn’t ideal. The pool area is very nice but isn’t the biggest. Because of this, it would be good if they enforced the no reserving of sunbeds as it says on the signs. Very annoying to come down and see most of the sunbeds with towels on them but people nowhere to be seen. The beach is very nice too, but as the sunbeds I assume are owned by the hotel, it seems a bit harsh to charge their guests for the use of them. They do this in the way that each person has to spend €10 on food and drink. The staff were all so friendly and helpful which made us feel very welcome. Food at the hotel was also lovely and we enjoyed everything we had there. We often had dinner in town which is about a 10/15 min walk. I think the walk looks much steeper than it actually is, so don’t he put off by it, it’s worth the effort!! We would absolutely return to this fab hotel, we really enjoyed our stay and have fallen in love with Parga. Can’t wait to go back!!
