Just returned from staying at the Hotel Acropol in Parga, could not fault it, spotless, and the staff were very helpful, I stayed in a single room which had it's own private balcony, the bathroom was very modern. The room was changed and cleaned often. Very comfortable bed. The hotel was minutes away from the seafront with beautiful views, also shops to browse in the little streets. Would certainly recomend the hotel and Parga and as a elderly lady solo traveler I felt very safe.

There are so many good things to say about Hotel Acropol I fear I may bore you! This was my 3rd trip to Parga but my first at the Acropol though I have been to their restaurant ‘Castellos’ on both previous trips. I had the most delightful single room. A really comfy bed, All small but perfectly formed but a full size fridge! I did use it for milk and water though so it was handy. Breakfast was everything you could want on one plate! I found it quite big for one but believe me it really was lovely. Much nicer than a buffet. Location is absolutely spot on. Right in the thick of everything. No pool, so a short walk will take you to town beach. You MUST reserve a sunbed the day before. Most of the bars/hotels have dedicated attendants that will do that. The alternative is to visit the bigger nearby Valtos beach, but it’s a hike. Back to the hotel! The staff are polite but unobtrusive, cleaning standards are high. I do not hesitate to recommend. I’m sure the larger rooms are also good.

This is our 4th visit to the hotel Acropol in Parga, absolutely can’t fault it, all the staff are very friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful very clean but still traditional we feel like we are part of the Parga community for the length of our stay, it’s like going back in time so peaceful and restful the location is perfect, breakfast is really good 👍 in fact we had to leave before breakfast time to get our coach and Alexious (the hotel owner) got there early and prepared us a feast for breakfast which we didn’t expect but was very grateful. Beds and pillows so comfy I could go on and on with nothing but praise for the hotel and staff but to sum it up in a nutshell 100% perfect 👍 Goodbye Acropol and Parga we will be back 🇬🇷👍👍🥰👏👏👏Ps forgot to mention the Costello restaurant food fantastic, George is a connoisseur of wines, hope you all enjoy your well deserved winter break 👏👏👏🥰

This really was a good choice, we wanted traditional within easy reach of restaurants, shops and beaches so it met with our expectations. We booked a package with Jet 2 and we were even met by a young lady from the hotel who met us at the end of the alley to assist us with our luggage and guide us to the hotel. Its advertised as the oldest hotel in Parga , its appearance is really quaint and well maintained and I believe that every room has a small balcony to sit and absorb the town atmosphere. Our room was on the 2nd floor and it faced the back of the hotel onto a square - I was initially disappointed as wanted the front but we soon settled in and the atmosphere of the locals coming and going through the square was nice and peaceful. Our room was a good size as was the bathroom which was larger than usual for Greece (we even had a shower over a bath) - the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept in Greece (we have been coming for 35 years!). The hotel has a very popular restaurant on site called Castella - the food is fantastic, we ate here 2 nights during our stay. Breakfast was really good and more than adequate - every morning there would be a small cooked offering of eggs either fried/scrambled/boiled or omelette with either bacon or sausage and then alongside a presentation of various pastries/breads/hams/cheese and a bowl of yogurt with either fruits or nuts, orange juice with tea/coffee - they will adapt it to your taste as long as you let them know if there is something you want or don't like. The owner and staff are all wonderful and extremely hard working, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. The only negative is that there is no lift so be aware if you have heavy bags or mobility issues it could be a bit difficult - however the staff will help if you need assistance. Thanks for a wonderful stay and good memories.

This is the oldest hotel in Parga and is a quirky quaint little place. The strangest thing is the breakfast. Having stayed in hotels all over the world we’ve never come across a breakfast like it. It’s served on a 2 tier cake stand and includes 2 types of bread, cake, pain au chocolate, feta & spinach rolls, salami, ham, cheese, tomato, cucumber and yogurt. Plus a fried egg & bacon or sausage served separately. It was all of very average quality. We saw only one couple eat everything. 99% of people sent most of it back. We would like to think that this doesn’t go to waste. Why not serve breakfast buffet style? It must work out cheaper. The bed was comfortable however the rooms would benefit from being updated. There’s a restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t eat at but it was busy as most restaurants were. It’s in central Parga just a short walk from the front. Would we stay here again? Definitely not.

Amazing hotel. Perfect location in middle of old town minutes from the harbour yet totally peaceful. Authentic, spotless and comfortable. Staff are wonderful, friendly knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast excellent and the restaurant superb, best meal we had in Parga. Highly recommend, an absolute gem.

This Hotel has been one of the best I have ever stayed in - much better than a lot of 4 star hotels I've been to. The rooms are modern, clean and fresh and come with a balcony with gorgeous views of the narrow streets, a bathroom, and comfortable beds. Alex, the owner was incredibly warm and welcoming and greeted me every day he saw me. The restaurant staff were also polite, and the cleaners cleaned my room every day and folded any clothes I had left to dry neatly onto my bed. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh coffee/tea and orange juice, and a selection of meats, pastries, bread and cheese, and fresh Greek yoghurt. The location of the hotel is perfect - a 2 minute walk (if that) to the harbour front, all the shops and restaurants, whilst also being far enough away to be exceptionally quiet. If I ever return to Parga, I will definitely be staying again. I cannot recommend this hotel enough
