Dracos Hotel

Lovely stay at this hotel. Friendly staff. Exceptionally clean everywhere. Rooms are dated but perfectly good. Clean towels and fresh linen every day. Lovely pool area with poolside bar for snacks and drinks. A bit of a walk 15-20 mins into town and slight uphill on the way back. But I enjoyed the walks very much. Being slightly out of town it was a peaceful hotel. There is a fantastic restaurant about 10 mins away if you don’t fancy the walk every night which we went to about four times ( Dukos Taverna ) I really loved the food there and afterwards would walk into the harbour and was spoilt for choice with bars. I would recommend this hotel and will return. As for Parga ! Just wow !!

The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk down hill into Parga, slightly longer on the way back! There are a few restaurants close to the hotel on the walk down if you don’t want to wander too far. The hotel itself is lovely. Our room had been recently renovated and was overlooking the adults only pool. It was large, clean and the bed was large and comfortable, there are basic self catering facilities. Both pools are really well looked after and look lovely with really comfortable sun beds. The bar/restaurant area is also very nice, although a little more expensive than in town and the staff that work there are just wonderful! I would definitely stop here again.

Hotel is lovely and peaceful in a very beautiful lush green setting, it has a relaxing vibe, the adult pool area was really nice and quiet and enjoyed the comfy sun loungers provided. Hotel rooms were spacious with lots of space for your things, cleaned everyday to a good standard also included a good size fridge and spacious shower area. Good location only 15 minutes walk into the town but also a great bakery and couple of good restaurants close by. We only ate once at the hotel taverna and the salads were lovely, along with the service, however we would have used this more often but the drinks and food prices were more expensive than many restaurants around. There is a little supermarket that will deliver your groceries which was really convenient.

Brilliant hotel. Beautiful grounds. Two swimming pools one just for adults also small children’s pool.Our room was cleaned every day and clean towels and bedding changed every other day. The staff here are so helpful and friendly and very soon make you feel at home. This was our sixth visit to Parga over a number of years, but our first visit to Drocos but hopefully it wont be our last. It is a 10/15 walk downhill to Parga and if you don’t want the walk back up taxis are only 5 euro. Can highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel 6 nights. Our stay was great. The staff very helpful and kind. The staf at pool bar was perfect. By the way they make the best greek coffee😉 The hotel itself and the pool area were very clean. Our room had kitchenette so it was very easy with the child. City center with the shops, food and drink are only 10-15 minutes walk. Next to the hotel there are mini markets as well. Highly recommend the hotel for all ages.

Wife and I stayed for a week at the end of July. Lovely family hotel although we mainly used it as a base as we are beach lovers. Nice welcome when we arrived by reception. If you want aircon in your room its 40 euro for the wk and 10 for the safe and a little bit of local tax . Pools are nice, one for families and a smaller pool round the back for adults. 5 euro a pint and 10 for a cocktail at the bar. Its a 20 min walk into Parga which is down hill and easily walked there and back. We caught the local bus to Acheron river which highly recommend but you need water shoes and a waterproof bag as little bit of swimming involved(. You can get bus tickets from the bus station(which is a small cabin) which when you walk down the slope after leaving the hotel and turn right its a couple of minutes away just before the bakery. Costs 15 euro pp return and goes 10-2pm and 3pm -7pm.. Parga beach is ok but very packed. We walked to Linchous beach(turn left at bottom of slope) 3 times and took us about 40 mins or you can get water taxi from parge peer at 12 euro return pp. Boat returns 2pm and 5pm to parga. Also we walked to Valtos beach and again water taxi can get you there and back at 6europp. Linchous and valtos are far better than parga beach in my opinion. Lots of great taverners in parga and most are the same reasonable price . Beer prices from 3 euro and cocktails from 6 and wine from 3 a glass. Have alook around its lovely. Shower available in hotel after checkout on last day.
