Hotel le Prieure

One-night stopover at Le Prieuré hotel. Very nice rehabilitation, decoration of very good taste, well imagined. Very clean, beautiful materials and a feeling of being at home. Bright place. Very comfortable junior suite. However, it lacks a few little touches such as tissues, welcome products. A few very additional ones perhaps. The breakfast buffet very good. Well stocked. Good quality. Very attentive, smiling staff. We needed a secure space to put our bikes in and there is a closed garage available. Location at the top very close to the basilica. Beautiful park, well landscaped. The only downside is the restaurant. Some adjus**ents to be made to properly take into account customer orders. And the 400gr piece of beef seems to have lost weight between the kitchen and the table. A little overcooked for rare. But an address to remember without any ulterior motive.

The hotel is quite nice. Breakfast good too. But what doesn't fit at all is the attached restaurant Le Samaritain. No culinary culture and excessive prices. Folks, this is Bourgogne, you can't serve such loveless fast food there. Absolutely not recommended.

It's not easy to find a chic hotel in the Brionnais. Le Prieuré stands out all the more beautifully. The furnishing of the entire hotel is modern and tasteful, everything makes a new impression. The rooms are not huge, but adequate and very clean. We had booked a window with a view of the garden and recommend everyone to take into account the few euros difference in price, because we even had a small terrace with seating and looked out over a beautifully landscaped garden, behind which a canal and a park. (The rooms facing the street are certainly not recommended, at least not on the ground floor, as they are visible from the outside.) We had dinner in the adjoining hotel and chose the 3-course menu with a very good price-performance ratio: Burgundy cuisine in a modern setting ambience. The wine was also very good and the service very on the ball! The breakfast we - untypical for France - presented as a buffet. Motto: small but fine, there is not much, but what is offered is of very good quality. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the church of Paray-le-Monial and is also not far from the town. Thoroughly recommended.

Hotel located in a beautiful garden on the banks of the Bourbince, completely renovated, superior room on the garden side, spacious and quiet. Comfortable bedding but, bad surprise, a double bed of only 1.40m. Unable to sleep well. Varied buffet breakfast with quality products, in a beautiful bright room.

The hotel has just opened and some improvements will be made. We had the comfort room on street number 16. The room is small (12-13 square meters), but the bar area and the terrace allow you to sit down and chat. A stone's throw from the pilgrimage area, it's very practical. A for Paray parking is free.
