We were sad to leave here, which says a lot! Beautiful quaint hotel perfectly located for the historic town of Paraty, literally a 3 minute walk away! Our 2 rooms were in a separate building which shared a quiet, pretty courtyard area. Rooms were clean, spacious, well equipped with comfortable beds. The mini bar items were very reasonably priced. Breakfast was always delicious with a great selection of hot and cold items. We also really enjoyed the afternoon tea and again delicious cakes! Camilli , the manager, spoke excellent English and a positive guest experience was always her priority. The other hotel staff didn’t speak English but nowadays this isn’t a problem with Google translate and everyone was always super friendly! The main public area of the pousada with the pool, chill-out area and restaurant was so pretty and tranquil. It was a shame the pool wasn’t heated - my kids found it a little too cold for swimming but I think this is the norm in Brazil. My only very small negative was that we’d used the laundry service for a lot of items and it wasn’t until afterwards that I’d realised one of the items - brand new for the trip - hadn’t been returned to me (partly my fault for not checking through everything before check out). Camilli did try to arrange for it to be sent to our next destination but it was unfortunately too late. All in all, a super little pousada and I would 100% recommend a stay here.

Cabore

Paraty Centro
The best cost benefit we have found! Excellent location, close to the historical center and the paraty center, with many restaurants around. Room and hostel always very clean. Excellent service for all of the staff of the hostel. Very good beds, spacious room, large box, hot shower and air conditioning frozen the room properly. Breakfast very good, fresh food and with the possibility of ordering at the time. For the price we were looking for, the hostel exceeded the expectations, and when I come back to Paraty, I will certainly come back to the same hostel.
Casa Turquesa - Maison d´Hôtes
4.7/528 Reviews
Casa Turquesa is one of our now favorite places in the world. We have traveled extensively and can say with all sincerity that this is one of the most lovely, charming, beautifully decorated, wonderfully run small luxury boutique properties we have ever had the pleasure to be welcomed into. We stayed in the ”white room,” an oasis of calm and beauty. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as if we were old friends of the owners of a gorgeously renovated mansion in the historic town of Paraty. Our bed was beyond comfortable (and surrounded by a mosquito net - how romantic! - that the staff let down in the evening and tied up again in the morning). Water pressure in the shower was excellent and the toiletries were delightful -smelling and gentle on the skin. Fresh filtered water was delivered to the room every night before bed and available in the reception area of the hotel at no charge. Every night on turndown, we received a little surprise from the casa - chocolates but also souvenirs from the casa like a magnetic bookmark or a branded recycled materials tote bag. Since guests are asked not to wear their outdoor shoes inside, guests are given a pair of Havainas flip flops upon check-in, and you can take them home upon departure. The breakfast was delicious, freshly made and quite varied. Most importantly, I cannot sing enough praises to the staff. This is a truly exceptional and warm group of people, every one of them. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We have rarely felt so much genuine pleasure from staff at a hotel - so kudos to both the obviously carefully chosen staff members as well as to management for fostering this atmosphere. When we left, we vowed to each other that we would return.
Pousada Vila do Porto

A pousada é bem simples.

Jabaquara
The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and is located in the heart of the city. When the reception was reached, the room they placed was with mto mofo smell, I immediately asked for the exchange and they did at the same moment, the other room was perfect, super pleasant, good bed, all right. They don't want to have a restaurant with lunch, dinner or portions of sales. They only offer breakfast, which is well served and varied by signal, good mto. There is no safe and no phone in the room. The hotel's reception is offered for a good price.
