This was a lovely stay. Many larger hotels were sold out and I was travelling for business so I went here. It was an excellent choice! It’s a well run business with great service, nice snacks for order, an excellent breakfast, and a convenient location. I will stay again!

Nice stay, lovely staff I booked the hotel last minute, because it was closer to the departure point of my tour than the accommodation I’d been planning to stay at and it turned out to be a good choice. The pool area is lovely, though I didn’t spend too much time there because the mosquitoes loved me too much. The rooms are just ok, but the AC works well and the staff was really kind. I liked the no-waste breakfast and the bar food menu was reasonably priced and yummy. Would stay there again, even if it’s not super close to some of the main sights of Paramaribo.

Exceptional Hospitality I was very pleasantly surprised at this place. I booked it last minute after not having many options available and I was blown away from the minute I arrived by the exceptional service! The room itself is not that big but really cozy and exceptionally clean! I can confidently compare the cleanliness to 4-star hotels I’ve stayed in, it was that clean! Out of everything though, it was the hospitality that made this a truly enjoyable stay. Lucy was such a welcoming hostess and often went above and beyond to help me out with things. From the minute I arrived she made me feel like I was at home and taken care of and for the 3 days I spent there she made sure that I was okay and always found ways to help me, often going above and beyond. All the other staff too were amazing and super helpful and professional. I honestly wish I had stayed longer. The next time I’m in Paramaribo, this is the only place I’m staying!

I had an excellent stay in Holland Lodge Paramaribo. To be honest, the pictures on their website make the rooms look a bit more luxurious than they are in reality. BUT, that didn't affect my experience and stay at all. The hotel is situated on a nice quiet location, a 10 minutes walk to more action and the presidential palace and the famous Palmentuin. The hotel staff is super friendly, flexible and very helpful. I really felt at home. Rooms are cleaned every day and have all the (basic) facilities one needs. The lounge is situated around a small pool and has a cosy atmosphere and you can have drinks, snacks and some small dishes. This will be my go to place in Paramaribo! Highly recommended!
