Malama Beach Holiday Village

I fully recomend Malama Beach Holiday Village! This place is amazing! Beautiful, wonderful view on the sea, 2 swimming pools, the food is delicious and with a great choice, the quality service is just perfect, everyone is doing a great job to provide the best quality service with a smile and always with a nice word, helping making our holidays there even better! Thank you to everyone at Malama Beach Holiday Village! Keep going like this, it's just perfect.

Just got back from Cyprus after staying in the Malama. The self catering accommodation states that it is 4* with a host of facilities. The apartment was to a good standard, good size bedroom with plenty of storage space. The living room /kitchen area is also a good size with an electric oven, kettle, toaster and the usual utensils. The apartments also have a good air con system and a ceiling fan. Considering the size of the complex it was a shame that the pool area was so small with two very small pools and a small kiddies pool. Their isn't enough sun loungers and they are all squashed together so not a lot of room, plus they have a few on a grassy area, which looks really bad. There is access to a small beached area (cove) behind the pool area which is really nice. It is very small and only a few loungers so you can't spend the day on the beach but close enough to the complex that you can go for a dip/swim easily ever It states that it is in Protaras, but this is not the case. In fact you need to catch a bus to Protaras which cost 1.50 or 12 euros by taxi. There are a few restaurants in the local area and Karas Tavern is really nice, good value lovely food. We never ate in the hotel restaurant but did get some food from the pool snack bar. To be honest the food wasn't very good and not good value. The pool bar was OK the usual drinks and ice creams. Again not that cheap but they have a captive audience. The staff were ok but some seemed a bit fed up to be honest!! It was pot luck who you got on reception. I would say that the Malama is ok for young families, older couples but any young couples or groups of mates should avoid this place. You will die of boredom and spent all your money travelling around to find any night life and I'm not talking about late night clubs I just mean a few bars and choice of restaurants. I also have my doubts about it being a 4* hotel more 3* I have stayed in better and cheaper self catering apartments that are were better located.

The best hotel in Protaras, the food especially is on another level 5*, the staff are the most genuine lovely people and make your stay very special, we have stayed at Malama over ten times now and can honestly say it just keeps getting better and better, the food options and the quality of the food are exceptional, we have been many times to protaras and dined out at all the lovely local restaurants but can honestly say that the food at Malama is better than all of them👌

Malama Beach is a great place for a family holiday. Beautiful location right by the sea with amazing views. The entertainment was fun for both kids and adults. Big thanks to Vincent and Sara – they were fantastic, especially during the interactive show! The room was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet food could be better, but overall we had a great stay. We’ll definitely come back!

My husband, my son and I have been here now for the fourth time. We love the staff, the place and view. The rooms are clean, and you can get the staff to clean every day. The food is top. But a tip would be to make some more sauses for people who are celiac . My husband where hungry from time to time. But we still would like to come back.
