The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a great place to stay while touring the Traverse City area, this is the place, a short scenic drive and half the price. It is an older motel without amenities (pool, exercise room etc.) that you don't need unless you are making your vacation a staycation. Near the side of Traverse City my wife needed for work, so it was great.

We appreciated the clean room and nice mattresses. The room includes a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. However, the motel no longer offers a complimentary breakfast. You have to go down to the store in Mayfield for breakfast. Otherwise I would rate this motel as very good.
