Good clean honest hotel with great friendly staff. I was looking for a low cost break in Cyprus as I’d not been before and didn’t know what to expect… Pro’s: Amazing value, friendly knowledgeable staff and clean & bright room Good selection of vegetarian breakfast included in the price Con’s: Toilet was intermittent. I could have reported but didn’t bother as I found a workable solution. There was a leak from somewhere in the bathroom, the floor was always wet. The doors are not well sealed and noise from others could be intrusive. Overall: Good well priced hotel in a good position near the harbour and beach. In need of a tidy up in the bathroom, a new flushing mechanism is all it needs I think. Honest value and very friendly helpful staff. If you are on a budget, we’ll worth considering. Top tip: Use the buses! They were great and very cheap (all quite new). On my way there I got a taxi to the hotel as I’d never been before and didn’t know my way around. €45 fixed cost from airport to Paphos town, 25 minutes. On my way back took the bus, took 30 minutes but the ticket cost just €1.50!!! Saving €43.50 over a single taxi journey! Bargain…

We visited the guest house as 3 couples. The place is cute and has a nice inner courtyard where you can have breakfast or lunch/dinner. The first issue was clear straight away: one room we booked was not the same as the one that was given to us. This happened because we didn't pay beforehand the booking for that specific room, nonetheless it is really unprofessional to give away a room that was booked only because it wasn't paid. Secondly our friend found a stain on the bed. The management replaced the sheets and offered them a complimentary wine glass. The positive sides of the place are the central location, the nice atmosphere and the big shower with a nice water pressure... when there is water. In fact the last day the whole area had a problem with water, and of course this cannot be accounted to the hotel. Nonetheless the management did nothing to reduce the disturbance created by this situation. We had a water bottle to wash our teeth and be able to do the minimum self-care before and after bedtime and it was charged to us 3 euros. When we went to pay we were expecting some sort of compensation - for example free breakfast or similar but even the water we had to buy was charged. The host gave us a piece of paper stating that next time we can have a free night stayin, but there will be no next time.
Seashell Apartments

We booked these apartments for two days at the end of our holiday because we had to check out of our Villa much earlier than our flight home. Our apartment was very clean and had everything you need.and is a very good location. The people who checked us in were very friendly and make you feel very welcome. We would happily recommend Seashell Apartments and will return when we next visit Cyprus.
Basilica Holiday Resort

We were dubious about staying at the Basilica after reading some bad reviews. When we arrived at the Basilica at about 1am we were informed that there was an issue with our room and that we would need to stay at their sister hotel Paphos Gardens about 5 mins away. We were quite annoyed about this but the staff were so apologetic about this it helped to calm us down. After a night at Paphos Gardens we returned to the Basilica, we had originally booked for B&B but due to the issue the night before they upgraded us to AI. Even though the start of our holiday stay didn’t go to plan we had an amazing stay there. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of entertainment just 1 act per evening at dinner time but this was ideal for our family. So if you’re looking for a small, quiet and friendly hotel take a look at the Basilica.

This hotel is estimated to be Chinese investment and has a Chinese introduction. Opposite the hotel is a shopping center, very good. There is also a supermarket. But the hotel itself is old and quite old.
