Julipapas Gardens

Comfortable stay; clean apartment. We were very happy with our stay. Staff friendly. Gated access to property for safe access for car. Good location few minutes from local bar and few minutes drive from supermarkets. Limited sea view from balcony. WiFi works but not the best upstairs and some plug sockets in rooms did not work but there are plenty in the house to use instead

A lovely complex which is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Due to the nature of the local area there are some pretty steep slopes around but completely manageable as long as you are reasonably mobile. a couple of nice local bars/restaurants (recommend Julies) and a small but well stocked supermarket.

Had a wonderful time at julipapas gardens, I cannot understand the poor reviews at all, we stayed 8 days and I could have stayed much longer and would have, had work not been an issue. I have stayed in 5 star all inclusive plus and yes of course everything is there for you, but then you are paying a huge amount for the privilege, any issues we had were sorted immediately by Migle, and by issues I mean an ironing board and a maiden for laundry. These were brought to us straight away. Walking distance to beach and a lovely bar Julie’s bar not far away excellent meals and really reasonably priced. Already booked for next year.

Its a beautiful complex, not your average (basic) holiday site. Has a lovely authentic feel to it that immediately makes you feel at home. The apartments are very well maintained and clean. A lovely owner who is very welcoming and great to deal with. We are a family of 4 with 2 children (girls) and they loved it too.....so much so we've booked again for next year!!

The house was not clean, the kitchen bin was so dirty we couldn’t handle the smell. The baby cot was dirty and dusty. Bed sheets were torn, air conditions were dusty full of mould. The place is not as new as it looks like in the pictures. Totally not recommend.

Pretty poor really,communication during the stay was non existent , many more reasons... Was contacted by someone from the resort but only feel this was down the fact that our flight was late and they wanted to know where we were , she was very helpful though and said that the number she was calling from was the number we could use to make contact with them at any time Because of the 'electric key' you have to walk into a dark property ( we arrived near mid night), the door keys cannot be separated form the electricity key and we understand why but it's not the easiest as it also impacted on the rest of the holiday. We stayed for 2 weeks and only had cleaners after 7 days who only changed our bedding and towels, half way through the 2nd week of out stay we were asked if we needed anything and when I asked for a clean tea towel as the only one we had was very dirty we were given one which had more holes in it than it did cloth ( slight exaggeration but sure you get it) On arrival we found that half of the electrical plug sockets did not work nor did the lights at the side of the bed, the shaver point in the bathroom also did not work. The bathroom is dark as lighting is limited, the shower head did not move and if you were as tall as me, 6'1" you had to crouch down to wash properly. The pool is close to the house, which is great until other residents think it is OK to have pool parties with adults and children as late as 01:30 hrs, when you try to contact any member of staff to make them aware you get no answer on the phone, texts do not get a response either and you never get any response the following day either, communication is non existent. Hot water takes ages to come through the taps, cutlery is limited, we only had 2 butter knives when we had booked for 4 people, cups and plates are mismatched and cooking utensils are limited. The pool is small and if there are more than say 12 people around the pool it is crowded we feel. Other than the things and incidents we reported to staff at the time we stayed we did not feel that we could complain having read other reviews on both *********** and Trip advisor, we did stay for 2 weeks and maybe this resort is not set up for that length of stay,maybe 2,3or 4 nights would be adequate but for us a long stay would not be recommended
