It's spacious enough for three people, and is as luxurious as a four-star hotel in Western Europe. It's right next to the tourist attractions, and a single room for around 8,000 yen per night is incredibly cheap. It's a great deal and I highly recommend it.

Just returned from a two week stay at the Basiilica Holiday Resort with the family (teenage children). From arrival at the hotel the staff were fantastic, saving us food following our late arrival, keeping the bar open to allow us to get a drink, security taking our bags to our room (we were in a block across the road). From then on the bar and restaurant staff (including show chef) were always cheerful, helpful and regularly checking we were all ok. The pool and pool area was clean, had a number of new sun beds and we were always able to find a spot to soak up the sun. Meals were superb with plenty of choice and regularly replenished and the drinks (on all inclusive) were terrific. Perfectly located for the Paphos harbour area, with a supermarket opposite if needed. Plentiful local public transport for day trips to the beach etc. The staff at the Basilica Holiday Resort deserve all the praise I can give them for making this probably our best and most relaxing family holiday ever! We hope to return soon.

Can't fault them. The staff put themselves out to help you. I went self catering but the food looked really good. One bedroom apartment was clean and cleaned everyday apart from Sundays . Towels and bedding changed regularly. No queues at the bar. Swimming pool lovely. Gym looked good. Plenty off sunbeds. Air-conditioning fantastic. We had no problems and will go back. We were at the Harbour apartments as there's different blocks. We were on the 2nd floor with a good lift. Location great for whatever you choose to do. PAM

Very nice hotel. Clean and Nice food. The best part was the bar especially Lucian. Best bartender. 😉 Do not forget to ask for the Lucian special. Best cocktail. Soon World famous. 🥇

Great location, poor hygiene. We arrived practically at midnight. Upon entering the room, we were greeted by… a cockroach (!). We immediately reported the matter to reception and requested a new room. Unfortunately, we didn't receive one; a new room wasn't available until over 12 hours later. Towels were supposed to be changed every other day, and bed linen every third. Unfortunately, during our practically week-long stay, we only received one change of towels and two changes of bed linen. Housekeeping is closed on Sundays, so we had to ask extravagantly to remove the contents of the bathroom wastebasket (used toilet paper 🫣).

Having read the reviews here, I was concerned we would not enjoy our holiday here. However, as soon as we arrived at our apartment all my fears disappeared. We were allocated a 2 bed apartment in the Thalia block. It was clean, cold and spacious. The bed linen was pristine and beds were made up daily. The air conditioning was cold, which was needed given how hot it was outside. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us. Water is heated by way of an immersion heater which you turn on 30 mins before needed, it served us all well with hot showers. The pool area had plenty sun loungers and plenty of shade from the static umbrellas. The pool itself was warm, which was nice although in the heat of the day it would have been nice for it to have been cooler. We were self catering so can’t comment on food. Overall we had a great time.

Just returned from 2 weeks here. We had 2 rooms in the harbour suites block rooms 223 & 213. Rooms were fine however my dad (72) got locked out his balcony as the door slammed shut no outside handle & was there for 2 hours so be careful if in that room (223) We initially booked self catering but after 6 days upgraded to all inclusive for the remainder of the holiday. Only criticism of the food one evening was no child options no nuggets, or fish available not even chips & to some that might not be an issue but to my eldest with autism it was a bit but he made do. Most of the staff generally were amazing the bar staff could not do enough for us however being quite far travelled to an array of hotels mostly 4/5* if the all inclusive finishes at a certain time the bar will stay open for drinks to be purchased that doesn't happen here so after 10.50pm lights are out & your getting nothing else. Sunbeds!!!!!! Week 1 the lack of sunbeds was an issue more got delivered & by week 2 came home yesterday 12/7 there's that many sunbeds there's no space & folk are practically sitting up your back, towels are being left on sunbeds the night before. Security or hotel do nothing about this as a result getting up at 5.45 AM became the norm. Now we met people who had previously stayed here multiple times and stated prior to this year that didn't happen the beds are also dirty & first thing in the morning the pool area is littered with cups & rubbish from the day/night before. Any entertainment we seen was generally quite good but week 1 we were out exploring the harbour area & neighbouring restaurants ect. We visited here during a freak heatwave the temperatures were extremely hot which brings me to my next point a kids club building unused not once was there any life about it now I am not asking for a kids club programme but in exhausting temperatures even somewhere kids could draw, play games anything to escape the heat for a bit would be a much welcomed addition it's a shame its not used when its already there. On the whole we had a lovely holiday, it's an excellent location, the sunbeds & lack of cleanliness around the pool would be my major gripe. We will miss our many cat friends that hang around the hotel very much 🐈🐈‍⬛

We stayed here for a week (booked through Jet2 Holidays) at the last week of June. We stayed in the Harbour Suite and our room faced the back and had the view of the Chrysopolitissa and ruins. You can also the swimming pool down to the right. My son and his girlfriend’s room was situated facing the Lidas street. Everyone would say that the hotel is dated, which is true with a tiny lift and actual key entry but as it’s a 3 star, it added to the charm. The room was spacious with a kitchenette. We had a balcony with views mentioned above. We did have a wobbly tap but it didn’t hamper our holiday. The room is cleaned every day and towels refreshed. The pool was nice. Only downside is that there’s not enough free sun loungers because people leave their stuff on them and you don’t know if they’re still there or not. The best time to be able to get a sun lounger is at about 5pm and the pool is quieter. We didn’t use the restaurant but did have drinks by the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the harbour front with many restaurants and tourist shops. There’s a great supermarket opposite so to us it was a good base.
