Well our flight was supposed to leave a little before 9pm and ended up getting cancelled at 1am. The gate agents eventually said at 4am that they ran out of hotel rooms. Hime Lodge opened up in the middle of the night to accommodate us. We were so extremely tired and exhausted from dealing with the airport staff who were clueless. The Hime Lodge team was so kind to us and quickly checked us in, accommodated a late check out, and even gave us an extra fan for our room. It felt like we were staying at a relatives house who really cared about making sure we were comfortable with everything we needed. We all slept GREAT and felt right at home. The next day, we walked to a few different restaurants which were delicious and super convenient. The lodge staff the next day also helped us secure a taxi back to the airport while we hung out in the common areas which were all very well kept. Thank you Hime Lodge for taking such great care of us!

Nous avons choisi une chambre avec salle d'eau privative. Points positifs, un effort a été fait pour les rideaux occultants et le linge de lit et la lampe de chevet, le matelas fin mais confortable. Pour le reste, chambre en arrière cour, vue sur la buanderie et les draps qui sèche. Aucune intimité si vous ne fermez pas les rideaux. Pas de penderie. Une salle d'eau vieillissante avec moisissure apparente mais une pomme de douche neuve, pas de gel douche. Peu d'isolation phonique lorsque les gens sont dans la cuisine tard le soir ou tôt 4h... Et comble de la ville, chiens et coq en concert. Il fait déjà très chaud dans la chambre alors que c'est l'hiver, j'imagine même pas en été. Juste un ventilateur sur pied. Bref, pour le même prix, nous étions la veille sur les hauteurs de Pirae dans un air BNB avec climatisation, TV, piscine et vue mer....
