Villa le Barone

This is a lovely, graceful guest house in the most beautiful countryside. I had first been told about it by friends who had visited over 15 years ago. This was my first opportunity to stay at Ville Le Barone and it did not disappoint. We spent a bit more on a room with a glorious elevated view of the surrounding countryside. It was worth every penny! I absolutely loved my stay. The staff, the food, the gardens everything was lovely. We were given some suggested driving routes to do and we picked the shortest one. It was only 60km but it took us all day as we stopped at all the small villages and view points. I would go back again in a heartbeat. l love Italy and have visited over the years at least 15 times. This was one of my most enjoyable stays.

This place is magical and is the real thing of you’re looking for the real Tuscan experience! The facility is historical and well maintained! The whole feeling was family like…- We had the pleasure and honour of meeting the Barone and his wife who made us feel at home! Dinner at the restaurant was divine! We will be back!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was nice. Cozy bed, and loved that we had our own patio. The view is breathtaking no matter where you are. Visited pool once, very nice. Breakfast buffet excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. We went for dinner in Greve twice and Panzano once. My only complaint was that they had turned off the AC so we had 2 very hot nights.

This was our 11th visit to Villa le Barone in Panzano. We found this gem of a hotel in 2006 and love coming back. Corso and Jacqueline are the hosts and owners, and along with all of the staff make this a special place. The location is amazing with beautiful views of the vineyards and olive groves that surround Panzano. The rooms are delightful, and no two are the same. We rarely eat out for dinner as the restaurant serves amazing food, and the vino selection is all from local vineyards. If you want a base for exploring Tuscany, which offers comfort and relaxation, along with amazing hospitality, this is it. Thank you, Jacqueline, Corso, and your staff for another memorable visit. Was really looking forward to our stay but once we arrived was disappointed. Our room was not ready, they closed the pool as breezy weather. They charge for everything. $2.50 for coffee, water, literally everything. Ur lucky if you can find some peanuts to snack on. Basically the villa is designed for events, weddings. Etc. We paid for dinner extra. Again disappointed. Very very small portions, left hungry. Would not stay again, especially for what they charge

This was our third visit to Villa Le Barone and we are already looking forward to planning the next one. When we were planning this trip to a number of places in Europe, this was where we wanted to spend our 40th anniversary. The Villa is beautiful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us - in a small village in the middle of Tuscany between Florence and Siena. The staff is incredibly helpful - from making the reservation to scheduling wine tours, to assisting us with other advice about the area. The onsite restaurant is top notch. We learned during our first visit that while you can certainly find great food in other places, you just can't go wrong having dinner at Villa Le Barone every night. And the icing on the cake is the wonderful owners - we so enjoyed visiting with the Count and Countess, and appreciate their hospitality. We have vacationed in many places, and Villa Le Barone is the only place that we have returned to multiple times.
