Iliana Hotel

My friend and i have just enjoyed a wonderful week in this perfect hotel. The Hotel Iliana is ideally situated in the heart of Panormos village, where everything is just a stones throw away, lovely beaches, friendly bars, and gorgeous restaurants. The hotel is small and friendly, super clean, and has everything you could need. Everyone was very helpful and ready with a smile. I enjoyed it that much that I have just booked to return again next year with my sister and brother in law. Thanks so much for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Thoroughly enjoyable peaceful stay. Very comfortable and clean with friendly staff. Perfectly placed for local beaches and restaurants. Good room facilities including TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, and air conditioning. Excellent sun beds and small pool. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had a lovely week at this small hotel and charming village. It was initially like stepping onto the set of Mamma Mia. The room was spacious and had lovely terrace. The negatives were we had a very uncomfortable mattress and the shower over tiny bath was a little awkward. The staff are fantastic and the restaurants are all so close and we didn't have a bad meal all week x Don't hesitate in visiting this lovely place. We like to visit different places so won't return next year but never say never xx

A wonderful little hotel hidden away in the town of Panormos in Crete. We were in a room right by the pool with a little terrace furnished with a table and chairs overlooking the pool. Whilst we we there (mid July) it was fairly quiet, an oasis of calm where we could sit with a glass of something chilled before making our way out for our evening meal. The room itself was spotless with the most enormous superking bed. The air con was really quiet and very effective, we did nt have it on throughout the night as the room was quickly chilled. The ensuite bathroom was quintessentially Greek with bins emptied daily by the wonderful cleaning ladies. The kitchenette was hardly used by us but was well provisioned for 3 people and spotlessly clean. We ate breakfast in the hotel - 8 euros for hot drinks, juice, toast, cold meats and hot food (bacon, eggs, sometimes little omelettes) and various bakery items, all delicious. Eleftheria, on the front desk and often on breakfast duty was so kind and welcoming and I must mention the wonderful Andreas who was an absolute mine of information about the local area and was incredibly helpful to us. Indeed we met nothing but kindness and warmth from all staff at this hotel. On our final day we had a late transfer but were able to leave our cases at reception and to use the pool and restroom facilities (there is a shower in the restroom). Panormos itself is lovely, with wonderful craft shops (we brought back some handmade pottery from Virtuosity and olive oil, honey and raki from local shops). The beaches in the town are a delight, our favourite because it had sun loungers (10 euros for 2 beds and 1 brolly) and also a beach bar, was towards the west of the town, approximately 5 mins from the hotel. Indeed all 3 beaches were just minutes from the hotel. All are sandy and safe. Eating out was a pleasure. Our favourite was Steki, a more traditional taverna (dates from 1948). We only came for a week but we will return and will certainly be staying at the Iliana again.

Lovely village ,hotel very quaint all want in room although pool very small,not enough sunbeds ,annoying point people put towels out first thing and remained all day leaving their belongings giving no one else a chance to use them

Overall it was a good hotel. It was a quiet hotel, nice to come away with family. Not located in a party place. The pool was lovely with sun beds and umbrellas. The staff were nice too. Only thing was there were small bugs and ants in our room all the time- even after the ladies washing the floor the bugs were still there like they were living in the walls. We woke up with bits on our feet legs and arms, getting worse everyday after waking up…
