Overall a great stay, but a few areas for improvement. Pros: • The shower was genuinely one of the best I’ve experienced — great water pressure, spacious walk-in design, and consistently hot water. • The Aqua Park was a lot of fun and a great alternative to the main pools. • Food and drinks were generally very good. We appreciated the branded drinks at the bar, high-quality ice creams, and especially loved the omelette and pancake stations at breakfast. • The resort is large but doesn’t feel too spread out, which is great. • My kids enjoyed the kids club, and the variety of pools kept things interesting (though none are heated, so they were a bit chilly in May). • A big plus: the hotel enforces a no sunbed hogging policy — great to see! Cons: • The rooms don’t quite meet 4-star standards. We stayed in a Casa Marina maisonette which, while clean and comfortable, felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel room. The decor was quite bland, and there were some practical issues — no counter space in the bathroom (nowhere to keep toiletries), no full-length mirror, no shower cap provided, and a shower screen that was too short, so water went everywhere. • Reception staff were polite but a bit curt. When I inquired about an upgrade at check-in, I was told my request would be passed to guest services. I never heard anything back. • There’s a lack of information provided. The app and WhatsApp concierge are helpful, but they don’t replace having basic written info in the room. • For a resort this size, one kids’ playground isn’t enough — it often felt overcrowded. There’s space to add another, which would really help. • The resort is on a steep hillside, so not ideal for guests with mobility issues or families using buggies. • There’s not much in the surrounding area. Panormo village is lovely, but beyond that, there’s not much to explore nearby. Overall, we had a great time — just hope to see a few of these details refined in future.
