Huilo Huilo Montaña Mágica

I arrived with many expectations which were exceeded. The friendliness of the staff, the details everything made it seem like a fairy tale. It was definitely a stay of rest and activity.

We stayed one night at Montaña magica on June 14. The attention from the first moment was wonderful, all the staff were very attentive, friendly, careful with the details. The entire complex is beautiful and each place is very well thought out, decorated and well heated. We spent the night to celebrate our marriage (newlyweds). Upon finding out about this, the team gave us a special experience to fully enjoy our stay.

It was a horrible experience, the administrator was terrible, without giving solutions and with pure problems, they left us without a room a day before we had to solve everything, really horrible attention.

I was very excited about the hotel, while it is beautiful both inside and out and the staff is very friendly, it is far from a relaxing experience. The loud noise of the air conditioning which cannot be turned off, was a nightmare, as it rang in my ears and killed any feeling of relaxation, at 2AM I still couldn't sleep and I called reception to discuss the case, they informed me that That noise is normal and they offered me some earplugs. In addition, you can hear everything from the rooms, very poorly soundproofed. Luckily I only went for one night. I cannot recommend it nor would I stay in this hotel again, for the cost it has, a minimum of conditions is expected.

Terrible, it was our 2nd visit to Huilo Huilo as a couple with my husband Carlos Valdes, we went to the "magical" mountain not to save money, but because I wanted to get to know it, since we only knew Nothafagus, seen in 2017 also in June. To begin with, room with poor heating, in the bathroom the heating did not work, and our visit was in winter so it was very necessary...disgusting stained mattress, as well as curtains, no sheets, only mattress covers and down, towels of low and terrible quality, room and tiny bed that for someone a little taller than us would have been unbearable, we tried to change the first day when we saw all this and there was only an alternative in an Italian suite at the Reino Fuingi hotel but at double the price What a tragic mountain... Terrible experience, I would not recommend anyone to stay there, it shows 0 maintenance and neglect compared to the rest of the hotel complex. 0 privacy, you can hear absolutely everything from the other rooms, even when people go up the stairs, in short it is the most neglected and forgotten part of the Huilo Huilo complex. We were there from June 23 to 25...room 3006 The only thing to highlight is the full board that we canceled and all the meals were of a standard and with excellent attention from the staff who work there, it is the only redeemable thing. But that doesn't make it a good experience and it shows from our visit in 2017 to now the poor maintenance of the entire complex. The pool with a temperature no higher than 23 degrees, dirty, without lifeguard personnel, with terrible towels and with totally deficient heating, as well as in changing rooms and corridors to get to it... something that was very different in 2017. I missed that the view through the window was of the garbage cans, with all the garbage spread out on the floor. Disappointed and we would not return Carlos Valdes Lizana and Sandra Menares Paredes
