Birdwatchers Beachfront Hotel Panglao Reviews

I was supposed to stay there 3 days and stayed only one night. The music was so loud at the bar I couldn’t rest at all . Literally extremely loud. But it’s right by the beach. Extremely basic hotel , NO HOT Water!!!! Everything is very run out and not clean at all. Never come back for sure.

Beach front, with a pool. Room is big, bathroom is ok. This is a good hotel, not 5 stars. But yes, this is ok

Great location, room is a good size with great Aircon, bathroom was a bit tired looking but it all worked ok. Food and drinks at a reasonable price. The place just felt like it needed a bit of TLC. It is certainly trading on its location which is right on the beach. Like many places in a similar location there is a lot of evening entertainment. Staff were helpful although you have to ask for your room to be cleaned.

It's right in front of the beach and there's a bar on the first floor, so I enjoyed my stay. It's a good idea to bring extra towels. I was surprised to see a small lizard in the room on the first day, but it was a pleasant memory. It was a little difficult to find because there was no sign.

There is no reception desk, and no one can be found when checking in or out. The bed is clean, but everything else is dirty. There is no balcony, and the shower head in the bathroom is hard to use!

Excellent location next to the sea. The hotel is located above a bar, where a musician plays and sings in the evening, naturally you can hear it in the room. There is no service as such. Checked in on time. After check-in, the staff was never seen again. But they allowed us to check out late for free - that’s a big plus. Overall a good hotel for the money

Basically there is no service, the room is not clean, and the Internet connection is very poor. Even if you use the mobile network, it is the same and you will only receive one bar. If you need internet, I don't recommend choosing this hotel. 

There are a lot of bugs and mosquitoes, there is a peculiar smell, the bathroom has a small amount of water, and the equipment is terrible.

You get what you pay for. It's similar to a local B&B. There are definitely better options in Panglao. It's located next to the beach and bar street. Due to business hours and performances, you can't sleep before 12 o'clock.

We've been going to Bohol for 2 years and the welcome you get from glen, Sam and Richard is the best. We're not just customers anymore we're friends. I can't recommend this place enough even if it's just for drinks and food like us. Although, having seen one of the recently refurbished rooms they've done a great job. Thank you Glen, Richard and Sam for your hospitality and for buying in Prosecco just for me!! The kids loved the karting together and even they've built friendships. The hotel was so nice and near the beach it is an easy access to all.. The great assistance from hotels staff was a ++++ very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are big too...They have an unusual shape of swimming pool which my kids loves too..you can go by pool swimming or beach which was jusy infront of the hotel🥰

I do not recommend this place in panglao, we were in town for 9 nights and spent 2 here, and by far the worst. Firstly room 1 is next to the bar so during the day and half the night it is noisey. The bathroom is mouldy and leaks when it rains. The toilet gets blocked and they do come and unblock it but then the bathroom floor is completely wet. Air con works well and the pool looked nice. Beach is like a 20 meter walk away. When you get dropped to the hotel it is a 100 meter walk up the beach with all your bags as well which I didn’t like on a hot day. At night the curtains aren’t black out so the room isn’t really dark which I prefer. This is my personal view on the property and my advice is there is lots of better places to stay in the area which I did try. So be warned and don’t complain if you try and find out this is what I said.
