Hotel great Aircondition cold Balcony great Stayed for 2 days. Hotel is walking distance to Teluk Nipah beach. Hotel is on top of the hill so need strong motor to go up. Owner said taxi wont send uyou all the way up. Uphill walk is about 100-150m with half of it very steep but all in all doable but i think not suitable for seniors.

The "hotel" is well known on the island, so every taxi driver drops u there for 18rm (=3,50€). Climbing up the hill (doable!! If you're not in shape, just slow down a bit). The wooden houses are super cute and have AC, Fridge, hair dryer and a balcony. The staff supports you anytime and their breakfast is really really good! U can easily rent a motor bike there and if not: the first big beach (and some good food spots) is just down the hill 😉

This tree house option up the steep Mountain can divide opinions . It’s more the thrill of everything combined that makes it a memorable visit . The Bangladeshi hosts are very kind and helpful. Sleep quality was fine and we didn’t need the mosquito nets on the 4 poster bed. WiFi is fine and laundry is clean. Shower /wet / room / toilet is basic as are the chairs on the patio. Breakfasts could be improved as the quality is poor. Roti breads are fine when they are laid out but 2 hours later it’s a different , similar story with the rest of the self service items . It’s a novelty place , do hire a car or moped as the climb up is steep . Only 18 RMS from the ferry port , 10 minutes, in a pinkish taxi .

Once you have conquered the hill you arrive are a really pretty location, away from everything it makes the place really relaxing and feels like you're in the middle of the jungle with the surroundings. The swimming pool is small but perfect for a morning or afternoon dip to cool off from the humid heat. The room was really nice and spacious with a large bathroom, the beds even came with mosquito nets. The breakfast that was included was pretty decent too with roti canai, nasi lemak, scrambled eggs, toast and fruit among the options. Coffee and tea was also available with breakfast. We saw loads of monkeys and hornbills around the property too. This has been mentioned many times before so we were aware of this when booking (and thus no problem for us) but the hill to get to the place is very steep so be prepared for a workout every time you come back to the hotel. It was even too steep for a scooter to drive 2 people up so my partner had to walk the last bit still. For us no problem, but this might be a deal breaker for others. The one other thing is that we had room number 1 which is directly attached to room 3 and it can get noisy between the rooms, we could hear the other people pretty well sometimes. Room 1 is also right next to the pool and breakfast area/kitchen so you'll get a bit of noise from that.
