At the moment i am here at the Monarch Hotel in Calasiao… and so far, we are loving it! My daughter enjoyed the pool, i love the room, it is big enough for 3 guests…i’ll probably try the suite next time 😊 and of course, customer service is superb! I hope it won’t change in the future. When I say future that would be tomorrow hahaha Big thanks to Mel, i think he is a manager because he has the aura of a manager… very welcoming, warmth and empathetic. Thanks to Vhea too (i hope i got her name right) for checking us in with all smiles and kindness. I shall rate their breakfast and check out procedure tomorrow.

Location is good and rooms are clean. We arrived earlier than the usual check in time but they allowed us to check in early without charge but we check out time was also adjusted earlier but it's ok since we will leave also early to drive.

Maybe the best hotel in Bolinao area. Excellent landscaping, swimming pools, garden, kids area.
The only drawback and really a little one is the staff service. I give this mark because they are really not helpful for giving touristic information for landmarks around, and especially for the Giant Clams - for me the real treasure around in this area.
Other than that, it is really a place to go and stay - there is no hotel around that can compare.

GGuest UserWhat I Like: -Staff was friendly and extremely helpful -Room was Big -bed was comfy -towels was fresh and good quality -bathroom was very good -water pressure was good -the view was good -value for money Things to improve: -staff communication to each other, should have unified knowledge and information -breakfast was served cold (Bec in-house kitchen is not yet operational) -room 201 is noisy due to nearby staff quarter/laundry, as early as 4am we heard noises that wakes us up. Overall it was a pleasant stay. It is a super new resort.

I can only advise you to continue this way same if it would be nice to offer some croissants and pains au chocolats at the breakfast… Be sure if I had to come back in Helsinki in the future, I’ll come back there ! GGuest UserThis resort already lost its former glory. We went to this resort to celebrate a birthday. We are about 18-20 pax. They only have one kiddie pool and one pool for adult which have a maximum of 6ft. The problem with the adult pool is they have a cordoned section for swimming lessons or i think its also used for training for schools, so sila lang halos nakakagamit nung portion na pool na nilagyan nila nang tali. I think its 3 - 4 lanes. So the rest nung mga gues which is nagbayad din naman nang entrance fee, eh dun na lang kami sa labas nung training area nila. I guess they need to choose, if gusto nila maging training ground yung pool nila, wag na sila mag accept nang guest kung hindi rin naman magamit nang maayos yung nag iisang adult pool nila. Bawal na rin daw ang videoke kasi nag rereklamo yung mga guest nila sa hotel which is katabi lang nang swimming area. We went there to enjoy and have fun pero because of the trainings in the swimming pool di kami nag enjoy. We planed to stay up to 9pm but because of we have encountered, umuwi na kami nang mga 5pm.

GGuest UserThe price is not expensive in the city, the accommodation environment, hygiene and other than the same price of the hotel, service attitude is standardized, it is recommended, although the decoration time is relatively long, but no smell, this is a good advantage.

GGuest UserThe entire resort is pretty spacious, so you'll enjoy your stay as it's almost always quiet. They also have their own pools. Their great staff are kind, helpful, and respectful. If you don't prefer the beachfront, the location is near the tourist spots around Patar, Bolinao, Pangasinan.

GGuest UserLocation is good, but during the stay, power went off in the evening and there was no back up generator available and it was a very, very hot weather, we have to stay out in the front lobby which is open and theres lots of mosquitos. When power came back after at least 2 hours and we were ready to sleep, lots of running rats/mouse heard from the attick.

GGuest UserVery affordable and right at the junction of the Five Star bus terminal. Most importantly, the only true pet-friendly hotel in Dagupan! Pros: 1. Price point - range is $20-$50 2. Good location - in front of Five Star, 7-11 downstairs, Mercury Drug is across the street, SM is a 5-minute walk 3. Amazing staff - They were friendly and welcoming. They insisted on carrying our bags. Check in and check out was a breeze 4. No pet fee - had 2 dogs and no extra charge 5. Surprisingly clean for an old room. Had no problem walking barefoot on the old and dingy tiles Cons: 1. Rooms could really use some fixing and refreshing. It was unimpressive at first but had to remind myself the good deal I was getting. They have an LCD TV, AC was working fine, and had a hot cold shower. As a pet owner and having to pay no pet fee, can’t complain as the room was sufficiently clean and served my need. 2. Road noise. It wasn’t terrible but more like filtered sound. You can still hear it but can be an issue for a light sleeper 3. Limited parking space. Only 2 slots available in front of the 7/11
