3-Star Hotels in Panama City

Nice hotel for families and business travelers. Service & amenities are good. No complains. Pool is very small so that was a major disappointment. Gym is good. Rooms are spacious and clean.. overall a good & pleasant stay. Quite a few restaurants & bars just opposite the hotel..

Hotel not brand new but well renovated. Upon arrival they gave us the famous room with the bathroom without a door (#1006) then after request, they changed our room. New bathroom, but the rest of the room (#503) a bit dated, carpet headboard of the bed. Very comfortable bed, but soundproofing between the rooms a bit poor. Nice and well equipped gym. The pool on the 2nd floor is a bit noisy and smelly, given the various ventilations. Abundant breakfast, but for us Europeans without bread, but with pancakes, toast bread and various morsels, and many other things.

Internet didn't work much, sometime is on but most of the time off. TV was large but picture was not center so could not read far right and control does not work all the time, we had trouble turning on and off, had to tried push buttons many time before finally worked. Hotel should provide couple of wash towels and glass drinking cups instead style form cups. it is not important but would have been nice to have lotion. Love the flooring because it is not carpet like most of hotel, feels much more clean. bed were comfortable. breakfast buffet was good.

The hotel was okay. The cleaning staff were very friendly, the front desk staff were pretty hit or miss, and some seemed disinterested. The room was small but comfortable and the price is good, but there are honestly better hotels for similiar prices. Location is great, but several of the hotels previously mentioned are around the same area. Overall my stay was good, but would never be my first choice.

Although it is in the old town, the surrounding area does not feel like an old town. The window looks out to the iconic building. The room is large and it takes only 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The transportation is also OK, about 15 minutes walk from the subway station, and Uber is not expensive.

Wasn't as clean as it could be. The staff was okay very lacking. Breakfast was boring, and monotonous ended up just getting breakfast at the malls. Valet basically non existent, annoying taxi service at entrance, really annoyed that there barely were any floor staff especially upon check in. Will stay again because of location and price.

Facilities excellent, rooms always clean. Very good varied breakfast, the only novelty was presented at the entrance because it did not reflect the reservation, I do not share the alternative solution by the establishment because they demanded a guarantee until the novelty was resolved, value that was refunded on the 3rd day.

The room is spacious and the bathroom too, they were very clean but you can hear a lot of noise from the hallway, the bar on the ground floor, the machines in the other rooms working and honking on the road (all the time), so it's not possible to sleep well . In addition to this negative point, the service from the employees is very poor, they are not at all helpful and are even unfriendly. They charge 5usd per day to leave your bags at reception. I do not recommend this hotel.

Selina/Casco Viejo is a hostel, geared to the young. I am far outside their target demographics. It is loud at night, loud enough to have them provide ear plugs BUT it is a great place to stay. Casco Antiguo is a beautiful part of Panama City and the restored restaurants and shops gives the traveler a truly enjoyable experience. Away from Casco, you will find the true heart of a city, with small shops lining streets and locals hurrying about their daily lives. The hotel offers day tours to many places and the guide that work there are knowledgably of the sites, people and traditions. I slept through the noise on the third floor and brought the unopened ear plugs with me as a souvenir (the party is at the rooftop on the sixth) and for sure I will return. I am posting the view from the balcony of Panama City. That alone is worth a night stay.

good, very good! It’s awesome. The breakfast was good, the service was good, and the pillows were comfortable. The only downside is that there are no windows in the room, so you have to turn off the air conditioner or you may catch a cold when you sleep.
