Room was nice and I liked the fact that the shower/tub controls were at the end of the tub opposite the showerhead. AC worked fine. Not much of a view. Rooms were clean, so no major complaint. I had no hot water one night nor the following morning. I made due as I had a lot of things to do. When I was checking out the nice clerk asked about my stay and I said it was very nice, except I didn't have hot water last night nor this morning. An officious woman came over and corrected me saying that there was hot water that morning. Clearly I had struck a nerve, but I wasn't complaining, just answering a question. Frankly, I know what water is hot and what isn't, and after running for 15 minutes this water wasn't even tepid. Since there was no one at the reception desk, I don't know why this woman felt the need to try to correct me, even tho I had been in the room and she had not.

Solid European property a block away from the Plaza de Toros and just a few minuts walking to all of the festival happenings but this is also at the easternish-end of the festival area so you can escape for a bit by just walking away from this property. We had a room overlooking the area leading to the Plaza de Toros and I can confirm that the festival is 24-7! Party noise outside at all hours of the night but you will get this anywhere in striking distance of the festival area so this is not on the hotel. The hotel itself is standard clean, pleasant and the rooms are a good size for Europe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This place has a small fitness room, which I always appreciate. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located in the centre of the old town and the holidays. Very well soundproofed. The reception is warm and professional. Parking is at 36€ for 2 nights, very convenient next to. The hotel is very clean. The room is spacious, the comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent. There is a tapas bar, everything is good fresh and original. The servers are very nice. In short, I loved my stay in this attaching city. Thanks

What can be said more? 5 stars and worth every penny. Great location, great service and attention to details like beds prepared for the night including a bottle of water on the side table; valet parking; perfect location. Ask to see the Hemmingway room or even book it when you want to experience some history. Will definitely come back to La Perla when coming back to Pamplona.

I made a booking for the San Fermin festival through their website for 3 rooms (we are a group of friends going together). One main reason we chose this hotel is because they only required a credit card in case of no-show, and the reservation said payment would be collected at the time of check in (July 7). Well, weeks after the reservation, without warning, they charged my bank account nearly $2000 US and said that's their policy for the festival (but nothing was indicated on their website). In fact, this is what my confirmation email says: CREDIT CARD DETAILS Your credit card won't be charged this amount (payment is to be made directly at the hotel on the day of arrival), unless you have booked a non-refundable rate or if stated otherwise in your rate's terms and conditions. In the event of a no-show, you will be charged a certain amount depending on your selected rate's cancellation policy. They refused to honor the terms of the reservation and caused my account to go into insufficient funds. Luckily, we were able to cancel and book at a different hotel. Horrible bad impression to leave on a guest. I get that you're expecting a full house but you cant change the terms that were agreed upon just because you feel like it.

A tranquil place. Surprisingly amazing service like a 5 star luxury hotel. Fantastic food. I was there for a week and i will go back. the rooms are comfortable, the bed particularly so, there is good air con and plenty of space so it almost feelsl like you are in your country house and not in a hotel. the only problems are small in the context of it all but worth a mension. the shower was not great and it had one of those annoying mixer taps so when some other room starts using water the temperature changes. the range in temperature is too much! each day this surprised me as it just does not fit with the rest of the hotel. the other small issue is a few of the electrical sockets in my room which was a bit annoying. specifically i had to unplug the Nespresso machine to plug my laptop in. That isnt good in the morning! Breakfast is wonderful and Herman is a fantastic host. nothing is too much trouble at breakfast time, even sorting out laundry! dinner and lunch are evidence of a super talented kitchen. How can tomatoes just taste so good. Simple things cooked with a super talented touch.

The room is small and the bedding is not very good. There are too few breakfast varieties, not even eggs. At the entrance of the hotel is a big supermarket, it is convenient to buy things. The location is close to the exit of the highway, which is somewhat biased, but it is very convenient to drive by yourself.

The official website of the hotel shows some photos of the rooms, but when you arrive at the hotel and you are allocated room, it seems that it has nothing to do with the photos. This is because the 1st floor rooms are older, and therefore have a older furniture. In our case, it has not the furniture baggage support to open as it appears on the web, older bed head, older box than on the web photos, other apps, the printing works not well, ... Totally, that surprise comes when you see the room and this is not what you had booked. And they didn't notify us when booking that there were such rooms other than those published, because if they knew, we would not have booked this hotel. We called the same afternoon in the reception and a very friendly girl who cared very properly changed us from the second day. The new room at 2ª plant was better, but it is not that it was recently renovated, but if it was a little more to what we had imagined once surveyed on your web. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

I wasn't disappointed in any way for choosing to stay at the Villava Hotel in fact it exceeded expectations . The room , restaurant , coffee shop and lounge all scored top marks . The buffet breakfast was excellent , and there was a lot of choice to suit everyone's tastes . All the staff deserve a mention for their friendly hospitality . Thank you .

GGuest UserGreat location! The room was nice and clean, but the beds were a bit hard. The blow-dryer in the bathroom had a very aggressive timer of sorts on it, so it was an extra fun experience trying to dry my hair in 20 second increments every 2 minutes. It's not possible to drive right up to the hotel, but there is a spaceous parking garage very near, that was easy to use and access.

ZZaragozaOn the edge of the city center plaza de castillo and the bullring, the large and small attractions are within walking distance, and the pamplona bus station is also a 10-minute walk. The facade is small and the inside is soundproof, but the single room faces inward and the window is a patio, so it is not noisy at night. The sparrow in the room is small and complete. The Michelin restaurant in the lobby, you can enjoy the special package of guests, which is very worth it. But the breakfast type is average, in addition to four kinds of fruit, other bread and milk are very basic, or go out to eat more cost-effective.

We came here for the first day of our Spain trip to see the San Fermin festival and the running of the bulls. This hotel was a block off the encierro and was right in the thick of it in terms of celebrating festivalgoers, so be advised that if you go during this time it will be a little noisy at all hours. Of course, because it was during the festival, the room was also fairly expensive. That said, the room was clean, the front desk was nice, and the location made it very easy to get around the festival and back to the hotel whenever we needed to. If you're planning a trip to Pamplona and want to be in its older sections - or are going during San Fermin and don't want to pay an encierro balcony price - definitely consider this place.

The only really uncomfortable detail was the following: the towels were new and placed them without being washed before, they had a kind of strong chemical smell and when drying did not absorb the water and left you all the body full of pelvis. It was really unpleasant that all the towels for the body were so, I commented at the reception and told me they were new and by error they put them without washing before.

GGuest UserI had not been here since before the pandemic, so it was great to be back and meet the friendly, kind, helpful staff that works in this hotel. It is located in the modern part of Pamplona/Iruña, which is not especially beautifuf, but if you don't have your own vehicle, it is very close to the train station and still within walking distance to the old town (20-25 minutes). There is as well a city bus-stop 3 minutes away from the hotel's entrance, where bus nº21 stops and takes you to Pamplona main bus station. The hotel's inside is modern, comfortable, clean and welcoming. There is a lift, good wifi and a computer for guests beside the breakfast room. The rooms are also comfortable and well-equipped, the en-suite bathroom is very modern and clean too, and the breakfast-buffet is good and filling.

GGuest UserSomos una família con cinco miembros. Eso es un problema vayas donde vayas. Escogimos este establecimiento porque no había nada más ese día en Pamplona. Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias. Ese punto es muy positivo. El baño limpio y amplio, pero muy oscuro. Triste, pero positivo también. El aire acondicionado de la habitación potente, pero en los espacios comunes no hay nada. En agosto era un horno, supongo que en enero será una nevera. La recepción es la zona más triste y sucia. Te hunde la moral solo con verla. Es una mala primera impresión (y si le sumas la máquina de vending, ya....). El check-in digital es la opción de este establecimiento. Me parece una mala decisión, y más si tenemos en cuenta el barrio en el que se ubica este hostal (complicado a partir de ciertas horas de la noche, como para que algo no funcione bien, y te quedes en la calle.... ). Por cierto, el establecimiento está pared con pared con una gasolinera. Este hotel es la solución para grupos de jóvenes (el wifi es muy bueno) o parejas con dos hijos. Pero a nosotros no nos compensó, porque acabamos pagando 260€ por una noche las cinco personas en un hostal de 2 estrellas. No volveremos. m.
