After moving to Wellington and passing through Palmerston North, I planned to stop for a rest. This motel was clean and quiet. I also caught up with the weekend market the next day and experienced the local customs. It was good. There was a Chinese restaurant in front of the hotel. I liked it. Friends who like Chinese food can try it. Walking along the road in front of the hotel to the Central District, I met an international student from Shanghai. We had a friendly chat and recommended a Korean restaurant in the Central District to me. Unfortunately, reservations were required, so I checked in to a Japanese restaurant not far away, but failed.

I had a wonderful stay at the Aubyn Court Motel. Janelle & Selby were super welcoming and lovely. Was treated with a Speights, Chips & a Kit Kat upon arrival which was such a nice touch. I stayed in a Spa Access Studio which was fantastic! Absolutely spotless and extremely spacious unit, great sized kitchen and the in room spa was amazing! There was an abundance of towels and personal products which was great. Bed was very comfortable and had an quiet and excellent nights sleep. Very handy central location can walk anywhere CBD in 5 mins. It was superb value for money and will certainly be staying again when I'm in town next. Highly recommend.

Great spacious and comfortable 2bdrm apartment for the family. Lots of room for everyone to move around in, very clean and tidy with comfy beds. Kids loved the spa. Very convenient and only a 5 min walk to town and takeaway restaurants. Highly recommend 👌 the Chancellor. Hosts are lovely and friendly.

Well.. i'm an experienced traveller and stay in hotels 26 weeks of the year. First glance willing to explore the difference of modern accommodation vs 19 whatever. Sort of taking the smell of mouldy old timber and carpet as a bit of a novelty but here's my review. Room was pretty much looked after except for the last day where they left dirty glasses etc and didn't fill the tea caddy. Breakfast was great with the gent at front of house looking after my guest and I. Dinner was abysmal, I love venison and ordered it thinking it's basically a staple in NZ and will be cooked well. Nup, the cook destroyed it and I'm still choking on it. Two glasses of wine later and it's still like a lump in my chest. I left a comment with the wait staff but was appeased by ”have a good rest of your evening” . Seriously guys, covid has brought out the worst in a lot of people because everyone's a whinger. I however rarely whinge but you guys need to lift your game... not good.. :(.. aint coming back

Stayed for the second time! The room given this time is on the second floor, so it is quieter and feels brighter and cleaner. There is milk, butter biscuits, everything is simple and comfortable, very close to the park, the bus stop is at the door, next time you go to Beipa, it is still the first choice.

Such a beautiful relaxing whanau accommodation. My dad and one of my kids booked one room which consisted of a queen bed and single bed. I booked Unit 1, which had 2 single beds available in the loft as well as 2 bedrooms downstairs, a kitchen (including an oven), bathroom a dining set plus fold out couch. I had myself and 4 children. We fit perfectly and would definitely fit a couple more people. Service upon check in was prompt and friendly. This was close affordable accommodation for us while visiting Ratana Pā. We enjoyed a good swim in the pool, which was just perfect size. A smaller play area around the back with a trampoline. My only issue was with another occupant who had parked a big truck along my carpark which meant we had to make our own carpark to get the kids inside. Not the Motels fault though 😊 We will be back next year for our annual visit to Ratana Pā.

GGuest UserWe are regulars at the City Corporate and the reason why we return each year is that it is always top notch. This place is beautifully presented, fitted with quality furnishings and linens with spacious studio rooms and immaculate in every respect. The complex has double-glazing and air-con so is always comfortable and quiet. John has owned/managed this complex for some years now and is consistently welcoming and friendly, and we feel very comfortable here. This is my third genuine review of the City Corporate over the past few years and I hope that readers can see through the comments of the previous reviewer, who appears to have created a Trip Advisor profile purely to write a spurious review of this hotel, and they should be removed.

GGuest UserCouldn’t recommend more highly. Such a kind and pleasant owner. Exceptionally clean motel, very comfortable beds and everything one could need. Close to the city centre but quiet. Excellent parking. We had been let down very last minute by “The Quality Suits” in Palmerston North and found ourselves stranded (after a long flight from singapore) with no accommodation on the eve of our daughters graduation from Massey University with nowhere to stay. PN was fully booked as you would expect. This motel owner could not have been more helpful and managed to shuffle things around to fit us in. He really saved us and we went on to enjoy our special family celebration. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in PN this place and owner is gold. Thank you.

GGuest UserA Great last minute stay here! Booked a room at the Harrington's Motor Lodge only 10mins before I arrived. I usually stay up the road, but the last minute room rate here was really good. The lovely lady at Reception hadn't quite seen my booking come through, so she rushed around getting my room organized. Proper Fresh Milk offered, none of those horrid UHT pottles to be seen. Parking was available directly outside the rooms. My room was just one of their basic studios. They were nothing flash, but all the fundamentals were excellent. Comfy Beds, Clean, and warm. Huge TV with the 50+ Sky TV Channels. Small Kitchenette with all the stuff you'd need to cook a small meal/breakfast. Bathroom had a wet area shower, which unfortunately had pretty shocking pressure. I had feared when I arrived, that this place may have been being used as an Emergency Housing Facility. There were a couple of shady people hanging around outside their rooms, and old beaten up cars. After a terrible experience the night before in a Motel that was an EH Facility, I was really nervous. However, the shady people outside were extremely quiet and respectful. So hopefully this place is not a EH Facility. My few gripes would be the shocking shower pressure. The lack of Power Sockets by the bed for the charging of phones and the likes. And not the Motels fault, but Turning right out of the Motel onto Fitzherbert Street can be very hard at times, and some massive patience is needed. So all in all, the Harrington's Motor Lodge is an extremely decent, comfortable, clean and affordable place to spend the night. The owners/manager are very friendly people. This place offers excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again

Our flight from Auckland arrived early im the morning so we requested an early check in. They were very obliging - other places we enquired at said NO WAY to an early check in. Thanks Camelot , next time we are down we will stay again 👍

The male who checked us in was not good, unfriendly, didn't tell us where our room was, stared us from upstairs as we went out which was creepy. The room was really clean (apart from plastic left on the floor). The 2nd day service was terrible. No beds made, no soap replaced,no face cloths replaced, used towel not taken, left cleaning spray bottle in our bathroom. Appreciated they did our dishes which we didn't expect them to. The file about the room was sososo sticky the pages inside stuck together. The shower pressure was terrible! Nice hot water though. Loved that we could fit five of us in one room! Three singles in the bedroom & a queen in the lounge. Comfortable beds & bedding but had to ring for another blanket (& soap) as everyone was cold with the sheet & super thin duvet only. No electric blankets provided. Super comfy couch. Despite other reviews re this we found it really quiet & it had good black out curtains. Little touches like matching light bulbs the same shade & color & repairing the bedside unit are cheap & make a big difference. Wouldn't not recommend, it's well priced, a good location just let down by service in all areas.

GGuest UserBeing a unit for wheelchair access, the room was spacious, very comfortable KS bed plus SB, generous bathroom with good shower pressure. Kitchen compact but included most amenities. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Quiet and good location near Botanical Gardens and Wildlife Rehab Centre.

GGuest UserAvoid unless you enjoy sleeping in a room that smells of cooking oil and bedding with unidentified stains. Room was disgusting and l left after one night. Was forced to pay for the 4 nights. Check onerous cancellation policy. Was not disclosed when I made the reservation in person at the front desk. The videos of the rooms at reception are way out of date and do not represent the current condition of the rooms. Parking provided (at a fee) in the building basement is an obstacle course to access. Overall a total failure and rip off.
