The reason for 3 stars is really a reflection of preference and in comparison to all types of other hotels, all inclusive buffet food and entertainment just isn’t for us and we should have known that before booking but reviews were good and we went with it. Room was ok cleanliness, floor was pretty dirty but size was great. Buffet food was buffet food as we said not for us but mckevits bar is attached and you can go to on weds and Thursday and was great, I highly recommend. You preorder and get one drink each included then 20% discount. Food and service were great and drinks and setting was also lovely. Staff are really lovely and friendly and very accommodating. Location is great, 10 min max walk to main ***** which has loads of bars restaurants and shops. WiFi is great. We didn’t have an issue with sunbeds, it’s busy but you can usually always find somewhere. Reception area is nice. I think if you like the all inclusive experience this is as good as any buffet style AI, we probably wouldn’t return but simply because we prefer a higher end hotel and going out to eat.

Don’t go here. Poor hygiene that attacks wasps by the pool and ants in our room. Staff are all rude and will say anything to get out of doing any work for you. They pull the pool chain across your legs with no warning or concern that they might have just scratched you. Meat at dinner buffet looks under cooked and anything with a bone looks to cooked that only the bone is left. Baked beans, juice and pasta sauce all watered down. Not all inclusive at all. You get two cocktails a day that are free anything else has to be paid for. Can not have alcohol until 10:00am. Child was told no floaty in the pool when another kid had a floaty in the pool at the exact same time as well as being shouted at for getting small bit of water on the side of the buffet (it is a pool side buffet) this is going to happen.

Just got back yesterday from this hotel. I was very disappointed that no lilos were aloud in pool which it didn’t state on the website, however they would allow the noodle floats, so made do with one of them. Rooms were ok, could do with a little modernisation instead of the wood chip wallpaper. Shower was a bit of a nightmare, some days the water barely trickled out and other days it was too powerful that the shower head kept moving upwards so you had to physically hold the shower head. If you have younger kids they are kept well entertained with the staff who are all so lovely. Our kids were older 10,12,14 not really anything for this age to keep them entertained. It would be a lot better if the bar stayed open till midnight and maybe the entertainment was on till at least 11pm. Couldn’t really fault the food. In my opinion there was always something that was nice. All in all I’d stay again at this hotel, you can venture out to bars which is only a walk away which is exactly what we did. Beach is 7 mins walk. Lovely scenery, nice and clean. Very much enjoyed my stay. 😁

Well where do I start. I booked this hotel for myself and my daughter at the end of August for a week away in the sun . You will not get a sunbed unless you are up at 6am every morning and then you must lay on it from that time as someone else will come down and take it . Not what you expect when you pay £3400 for a holiday . Reception staff are rude and never say a hello or good morning and they just seem that they can’t be bothered with you . The cleanliness around the pool is not good . Wasps everywhere . Kids leaving empty glasses of slush some all spilt over the floor and never cleaned . You will not be allowed a lilo in the pool but I watched the lifeguard just sit and let the kids perform front and backward somersalts and not say anything to them, Where was the safety aspect regarding this . Will not be returning to this hotel. Not worth the money . Food sometimes was cold.

Third time this year. Probably the last. Magnus suite was large. Air con is good. Staff are nice. Food is average for Spanish hotels. Sunbed situation was a joke. Actually had people physically fighting this time. They just don’t enforce the rules meaning you need to be by 645am to get anything. Then the next problem, you go down to sit on your bed early just incase they do enforce the rules and you eaten alive by mosquitoes. Normally we’re ok but both were horribly bitten. Needed anti histamines. Surely they can treat the area to limit this? Next the Magnus suite should come with premium drinks. They don’t. Your on Rushnikoff all week because no matter how many times you tell them and show them wrist band they just don’t do it. Entertainment is awful. Last 3 nights gangs of kids running round the corridors banging doors and running off. Told reception but no security in the hotel and no one came. Opening the pool at 10am is silly. Way too late with kids. It’s a nice enough hotel, nice enough staff but we’ve outgrown it as a family. We come 3/4 times a year, most as a family, but next years prices are stupid ar £1000 more than this year. We’re not paying £4500 for 7 nights with all these issues.

Went to Palmanova Park 21st to 28th August with my sons (25, 12, and 10). Excellent hotel, clean and accommodating. Rooms cleaned every day, good food & drinks. All staff friendly, cleaners smile and say hello, restaurant staff run the meal times very efficiently. Kids club 10am-1pm and 3pm-5pm, great club, from 4years old, mine preferred the pool and daily activities though. Entertainment team were outstanding, always smiling and having time for the kids. As well as the kids club the team put on activities during the day, both in and out of the water, a great way to meet other families there. Claudia and Rafita (a.k.a. ‘Seahorse’) put in so much time and made all of us feel part of everything, their energy and obvious love for what they do really shows! Pool is open 10am to 7pm, (optional activities 10am - 5pm with a break for lunch). Kids disco is at 8:30pm and then there’s a different evening entertainment slot, sometimes interactive (quizzes/bingo) sometimes a show (dancing/tributes). The entertainment finishes about 10:30pm and all inclusive drinks stop at 11pm, this works for families though as most are shattered by then. Definitely aimed at families, whole hotel felt safe, and everyone there, when we were, were families with children from babies to teens. Shops and beach are only a 5minute walk. Beach was clean, can hire 2 sun beds with a parasol, and a lock box for 20euros, which is good if you all want to go in the sea. We only went to the beach once as there was stuff we wanted to do at the hotel. My 25 year old would have liked a night in Magaluf, which is a short taxi ride, but the people we met in the hotel were all with young children, so that would only really work if you go with people who have similar interests. I’d go again.

Hotel is brilliant. The main positives being the air con in the room, the quality and ease of getting food/drink (all day!) and in particularly the hotel staff. From catering, cleaners, front desk, bar staff to entertainers they are so friendly polite and caring to make your holiday fun. The main pool is great, but very deep. But also has a shallow kids splash pool beside it which is good for toddlers. The other kids pool is fun with the slides, a 1 meter deep pool and the bouncy pillow. We went in school holidays and whilst it was busy, the pools are big and never too crowded. We ate earlier into the slots so never* queued for meals and plenty of food available. All fresh, warm and good choice. Any all inclusive gets a little tiring after a week, but plenty of variation. As the holiday went on the kids took advantage of the poolside snack bar which had burgers, pizza, chips, pasta, hot dogs, salad and desserts. *There was one day in the holiday that seemed to overlap on transfers so restaurant was a bit hectic that day. The main concern we had from reviews before we left were the sun beds. There are plenty and they couldn't squeeze any more in. Main pool I'd say you do need to go down by 730am with towels. The side door to small pool opens at about 745am and plenty of beds there too. Rooms and balcony are clean and good size. Might feel cramped with older "teen age" kids. WiFi is amazing. Kids streamed YouTube etc. works everywhere (room/pool etc) Bar by pool looks busy queues but staff couldn't be faster and your unlikely to be there for more than a couple of minutes. Even when queue is 10+ people. Can help yourself to fizzy pop, water and coffee machine from 10am by pool which helps too. I'd say this holiday is perfect for families like us (we had 3 and 6 year old) and it feels like that's the target audience in terms of entertainment too. If I had multiple children aged 10+ I would maybe want a hotel with a proper sports court and space for them to boot a football around, and also a proper arcade with machines in. The evening kids entertainment is fine but young focus. Didn't really stay for evening entertainment as it began 930 and our kids were knackered by then. Only thing is where it's quite an international hotel they say everything in Spanish/English and then French. So takes a bit longer for kids to know what's going on. But it's nice it's not 100% Brits abroad. Prob a good 60-75% of us, but nice to see Italians, Spanish, Germans, Dutch etc enjoying the hotel too. Edge of Beach (by the pirate play park) is a 5 mins walk. Think there is a transfer to go more along the promenade. Also a decent shop called ted (hot wheels for 1 euro 50, other toot, inflatables, sweets etc) very local and a cool play park too. Would highly recommend this hotel for young families wanting everything in one place and to have the kids entertained. Nothing beats your 3 year old covering their pancake and face in Nutella at 9am!

We have just returned after a 10 night stay. With so many mixed reviews we were apprehensive, however we cannot fault Fergus Club Palmanova Park. Review for a Magnus double room. Room: spacious and clean. Sheets and towels changed every day. Shampoo and conditioner included. Mini bar stocked. Two bottles of water in the room on arrival and replenished every day. Downfall was wardrobe space for 4 people. Couldn’t hang my dresses as there were drawers so had to tuck them under. Pools: sunbeds at the main pool taken by 7am. We got sunbeds at the kids pool at 8am most days. The kids pool was a highlight. Kept our two daughters entertained with the slides and bouncy pillow. Can get very busy! Entertainment: kids club great for the little ones. This ran from 10am-1pm. Games room from 3pm-5pm. Mini disco amazing for the kids. Entertainment afterwards was hit and miss. Not always good enough. Animation Team: these guys work tirelessly. Amazing with the children and kept them entertained. Rafita, Claudia and Vicki were awesome!!!! Such an asset to the hotel. Food: we found the food good. Always something to try. A great selection and although a bit repetitive it was always tasty! Snack bar great for something quick and easy. Irish bar: great. We got a free cocktail every day and the strawberry daiquiri was gorgeous! Great for a cool evening drink or to watch some football. Beach: beautiful. 8 min walk from the hotel. Sand soft, water clear. Beds, however, cost €20 for two. We paid it as we wanted shade but you can take towels and parasols to save money. Some lovely bars for a lunch time snack/drink. Watch out for jelly fish. My daughter was stung however the lifeguards were amazing and sorted the sting for her quickly. It didn’t put her off swimming! We went here at the end of August and at peak time, it was very busy. There were queues often, especially at the bar at night, it’s a shame they didn’t add more staff at night time to reduce these. There are so many positives and just a couple of negatives. I would recommend this hotel and would return.

Just back from a lovely week here, couldn't really fault the place at all. Room was clean with plenty of room for the 3 of us, beds comfy and a spacious balcony, cleaners came everyday to make the beds and leave clean towels. We had no issues with food, a bit samey but always something for everyone, food at the snack bar was good too. I did have to go for a sunbed around 7am for a decent spot but I enjoyed sitting there for an hour or so before breakfast while the boys were still sleeping and only did this when we were spending all day there, they are supposed to have a rule where towels will be removed after 40 minutes but I did see sunbeds being reserved and not used until the afternoon. The entertainment is pretty standard for your all inclusive hotel, our son is a teenager now so we didn't spend a lot of time there but we had a pool view room so did get an idea of the acts that were on and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. Finally I have to say the staff really stood out for me here, every single person we came across, from cleaners, reception, restaurant, entertainment and bar staff, they're all amazing, always making an effort to smile and chat with you...special shout out to Jimmy on the bar though, he's an absolute star, keeping the queue moving quickly while having a laugh and and joke with everyone, great guy! Overall a lovely week and would definitely recommend!
