Fab hotel for a quiet last minute break. Pool area was brilliant, really comfy sun beds and brilliant cocktails served from the pool bar. We were always able to find a sun bed. The staff were all brilliant, food and drink all seemed reasonable for the local prices. We were in one of the older rooms so it didn’t have the nice blue/ white colour theme shown in the hotel photos, but beds were comfy and there were double balcony doors so there was no issues with noise from the street. It was great to have a fridge in the room. Lovely beach less than 10 mins walk, and easy to jump on the bus to Palma from right outside the hotel (€2 each way). You can also cycle which is lovely too. Breakfast was excellent, loads of choice. dinner also good, each night had a different theme- some nights were better than others! There was no entertainment in the evenings but bar open until 12. We stayed Monday- Friday and the hotel was busy but pretty chilled, I think it’s more of a party hotel over the weekends.

Arrived a little early and our room was ready to go straight there. We both liked the hotel, it’s an adults only so, no crying and not too much noise. We slept well, found the bed better than ours at home with modern facilities and natural materials used throughout the whole hotel. We enjoyed the beach, always beds and shades available with a shallow sea, I did go swimming but it was very cold and I didn’t manage it everyday. You are spoilt for choice with cafes, restaurants and bars, with enough shops to browse in The hotel offers excellent service, all we ate was hot, well cooked and great quality and the spots of interest like the roof bar give it the edge. Welcoming and comfortable in all areas, this was a great experience.

This was our third stay at Apolo . Unfortunately our stay was cut short by a day due to the French ATC strike . We had EJ flights and there were no flights available back to Bristol for 4 days, we managed to get flights with BA back to Heathrow the day before the strike began, which did make our holiday quite costly. We enjoyed our stay very much , the breakfast & evening meals are very good , although as a previous reviewer had said the food is not always very hot , but a lot of choices available both for breakfast & evening dinner. We had a pool/sea view room that I had requested on the 5th floor. I also asked if we could have a kettle and it was in our room on our arrival. The rooms are not very big and storage is limited, only one drawer with hanging space above . The bathroom with a shower, which was a little small, but there was a window to open. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the hotel is kept very clean. The food in the snack bar at lunch time is also very good. We choose to stay at the hotel due to its short taxi trip €15 from the airport and our previous holidays . If & when we return for any future holidays we would not hesitate to stay at Apolo . We were advised from travel agency that this was a nice 5* hotel with a good beach nearby. I mean, this hotel is not bad, and the staff was very nice and helpful, we travelled with 2 small kids and the staff made us fell very welcomed. I know the surrounding area is not hotel's fault, but its definitely more for the teens or younsters who party hard every night. Everywhere is graffiti, theres no nice souvenir shop- only the cheap bs that people buy when drunk but back to the review. The elevator didnt work the whole 7 days and when we asked why they dont call the service to fix it, we were told they call it but no one came. Peefect. So imagine waiting 5-10mins to go down with the one elevator that worked for 8 floors plus -1 floor. We had to use stairs to go down with two pushchairs in our hands. When it comes to food, everyday was a different theme which was nice, the food was good but all the cakes were from frozen semi-finished products and not hotel made, which is a big minus for me as a baker. You have to pay for your drinks when having dinner, even water. I dont think this hotel looks like 5*, especially the vending machines made it look super cheap and when i asked for the luggage weight, you have to pay 1€ for each weighting which is super ridiculous. The room service didnt do much of cleaning, where there was a bit of a sand on the floor, it was there for our whole stay. They only changed the towels, made up the sheets and thats it, didnt even change the sheets. The room was lacking a lot of stuff for 5* hotel, like weight, wardrobe for the clothes, some essentials for hygiene, a little sewing kit and so on. We will not return to this hotel and you better find somewhere else without the screaming drunk german teens and graffiti all around. At last, i have to thank again to the staff, they made our stay much better.

We are currently in the Amfora Beach. Staying here for 10 nights. Booked three rooms. Since we checked in on Saturday in our room we have slept with thick black mould and spores on the partition wall between the bathroom and the bedroom. We have reported this and it was partly wiped off but still several spores and black visible. We reported it again today and explained the cause is due to the bathroom door not closing. We were promised a ”technician” would look at it. We explained myself and my partner suffer asthma and emphysema and this is detrimental to our health. We ard both now wheezing. We returned this evening to find nothing has been done. On asking again at reception thd technician was unavailable and it might be done tomorrow. Explaining again the risk to our breathing, my partner was met with ”si, si”.. It seems the only way we may get a response is through this forum as clearly the reception team do not realise the seriousnes of the situation. We have paid a considerable sum for three very small rooms that do not appear to merit the 4 star tag and the least we would expect t is they would be clean and safe.

Absolutely amazing, everyone was so friendly. Beautiful views from our room and amazing service from the staff. Would definitely go back to that hotel if we ever visit Palma again.

Sotavento Club Apartments - Adults Only is just a 5-minute walk from Magaluf Beach and the nightlife of the Strip. You can enjoy a drink at the poolside bar or relax in the hot tub or take a break at the lounge. The restaurant and bar serve snacks, meals and drinks until late. The breakfast is served until 3pm. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs can also be found on the Strip, a few minutes’ walk away.

Just returned from 4 nights at the hotel. Modern, looked after Hôtel with friendly helpful staff. Location is perfect with shops, restaurants and super markets within 1 min walk (and beach). €2 bus ride into Palma which run regularly. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food but lots did. Would definitely recommend and will 100% return soon. 🇪🇸 🍷 🍺 ☀️

The location is top. And of course your money 💰 is worth the penny you pay for this hotel. I will always recommend this place because it is located at the most beautiful spot 😍❤️ The breakfast and amenities are good. You won’t see that in any places in Europe, in terms of the amount you paid for. It is easy to go here from the Airport, we just did it by bus and it is only around 4 euro each. Just ask the tour assistant in the Airport and they will help you there.
