Fleur Noire Hotel

I thought I should leave a honest review as there are so many overwhelmingly positive ones which could lead some people to be disappointed/mislead. There are some nice touches, free bikes, free soft drinks etc but fundamentally this is reviewed far too well. Our room was extremely large, in fact it had a kitchen, a living room, and bedroom so more like an apartment but felt like a slightly tired air bnb. The shower had a strange pebble effect on the floor and the plastic curtains are not what you’d epic from a hotel in PS at this price point. The AC was noisey, the layout of the room bizarre, mirrors by sinks in strange places, one tiny thin pool towels each and windows blinds you don’t want to open due to no views or no privacy. The property backs onto a fish restaurant which apparently is good but there is the strong wafting of fried fish which isn’t ideal. We liked the location and the instructions were very clear and the staff pleasant, the pool beds are comfy but this is not a luxury retreat. I felt compelled to write this to manage expectations of other guests - this is not a bad hotel at all but it is also not exceptional as the other guests have suggested.

Pros: Nice landscaping Bicycles Guest Pantry Good service Quiet, safe Cons: -Long walk from downtown if you can’t bike -Overpriced canned cocktails at bar, especially when liquor store right next door sells same thing for a third of the cost -High cost for the condition of the room and hotel. A fresh coat of paint doesn’t necessarily hide everything. Felt more shabby than chic. Walking around Palm Springs and seeing the beautiful modern luxury hotels with lower nightly costs did sting a little bit.

Front staff great! Property cute, nice character; liked 'clubhouse' that has snacks available during the day free of charge; small negatives - no jacuzzi, street noise, and bed frame dangerously sticks out

The property was lovely! The painted wall exteriors provided a "bohemian" feel.........which was so different and pretty. The Fleur Noire would be a perfect location for a bachelorette party or girls trip! The staff, Natalie and Brie were friendly and helpful......we enjoyed our visit to Palm Springs and Fleur Noire!

I appreciated the outdoor amenities-fire pit, pool, nice lounge chairs. I also liked the breakfast options.

We absolutely LOVED our time at Fleur Noire. Great location and easily walkable to many restaurants. The decor was amazing and so unique. The rooms had everything we needed and the bed/bedding were fluffy and so comfy. We'd rank it a 6 out of 5 if able! With the courtyard ammenities, it would be great to stay with a large group of friends--everyone has their own room but can congregate at the fire pits, pool, etc. The staff was so responsive too. Thank you for having us!!

We had a great stay here. The property is small and very cute. The staff was excellent and so attentive to anything we needed. The shared pantry is a very nice touch! Location is great. Lots of restaurants in the area and only a 30 minute walk to downtown Palm Springs.

A very special and memorable stay due to the excellent service, ultra charming rooms and property, abundant treats, free bikes, easy walk to town and more. The heated pool was a plus. The Rosé bar adorable. Don’t miss the chance to stay here. You will love it!
