Thompson Palm Springs by Hyatt

For being a brand new hotel, the experience was flawless. There are still some parts of the hotel which are under construction, but the restaurant that is available is great. The entire service team was excellent. As an example I had mentioned in passing that it was the birthday of someone in the party on the day we arrived: we were met with a little birthday pastry. Globalist recognition was seamless; there was no having to amend the bill as often happened at even established properties. The bar has also become popular with locals in a short time so it’s created a fun vibe for the place. That said, the pool area is still reserved for hotel guests so it’s not too crowded either

I just stayed at the Thompson Palm Springs and absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options, great staff, excellent amenities to amazing rooms, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel has the perfect blend to Palm Springs vibes.

This hotel is going to be incredible once it is fully ready! It is still very under construction and has some kinks that need to be worked out. That being said, the customer service was great, the location can’t be beat and every detail of the main building was so well thought out. We enjoyed the pool and loved the small touches, like pre bagged ice in the ice rooms.

The Thompson Palm Springs was everything I was hoping and more. The location, staff, amenities, and overall property were fantastic. The staff was great, even after only being open for a week. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was fantastic. I'm already looking forward to returning in the future.

The most dishonest hotel I have ever experienced. I had a confirmed reservation for a suite and I received an email stating they will not honor my reservation. Reservation was made on the Hyatt web and was confirmed. THIS IS DISCUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HYATT AND THE HOTEL SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

The hotel is simply not ready. Felt like a soft opening and they are still working out the kinks and we were the guinea pigs. Construction going on all around us that was so loud that we could not really be in the room. Front desk was unaware of the promotional grand opening rate. Restaurant was pretty, but food was very salty. Pool service was no bueno. Staff inattentive. Jacuzzi was not working. Pool was dirty and nobody came to clean.

Thompson Palm Springs is amazing but the staff made our trip exceptional. The hotel room was very spacious, meticulously decorated and contained all the amenities anyone would love. My favorite was the Nespresso and the good quality wine glasses. The cuisine and beverages at Lola Rose were top notch. Sitting by the pool with a fabulous cocktail and a breath taking view of mountains was everything. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

My husband fell on their walkway today because the walkways have steps that are very difficult to see and are not marked .He was seriously bruised. The hotel manager didn’t apologize and didn’t seem to care. Only the security guard helped us with bandages. The staff there is very cold and uncaring.
