If your idea of a vacation in Aruba is staying at a modern, high-rise hotel chain with hundreds of identical rooms, then you will not like this place. But if you are intrigued by the idea of staying in a small, one-story lodge with a bohemian, offbeat, beachcomber vibe, then you will love it here. Each room is unique, most with outdoor kitchens and dining areas. The place is a little rundown, it's true. Some appliances don't work as well as they should, and one day the water was off for several hours. But in exchange for some minor inconvenience, you get ambiance, color, enchantment, and an authentic island experience. Ana, the manager, is hospitable and charming, and Wilson, the handyman and caretaker, is helpful and always smiling. There are friendly cats and chickens too. There's a lot to love here. A great place to live out your Gilligan’s Island fantasy.

Many year ago there was a funky little rock/blues/funk/country music hangout in the lower eastside of NYC. It was called CBGB. People either loved it or just avoided it. Either you 'got it' or you didn't. BHA is Aruba's hotel answer to CBGB. Either you 'get it' or you don't. Yes, it is kinda worn around the edges; it exudes a kind of kitsch, but is not concerned with its status or outer presentation. It simply is a place to stay for a few days or a week or more. It exists in a sort of time warp; people set their own clock, their own rhythms and go about their days and nights unencumbered by what the high end resorts might offer. Ana, the manager, is someone who draws people in with her knowledge, style, friendship, and good graces. Wilson, the house fix-it whiz has his pulse on the details of helping the place run well. The owners are so modest and unpretentious, that for the first two days of my stay, I thought they were guests like the rest of us. I would hope to return one day. But please, my one suggestion- at least in my residence. The mattress- is way, too soft- I think it is time for a new, hard, firm one. Thanks, guys. See ya soon.

This place is located in a beautiful location. If you are traveling on a budget & have no quality expectations, then stay here. This place is good for college kids here for Spring Break. The entire place needs to be renovated to become current with modern times, its decor is from the 80’s & amenities are minimal to say the least. It is also 15-20 min. walk to nearest restaurant.

Perfect location right across from the beach and very reasonably priced. Friendly hosts and lots of outside space to enjoy the weather (+ the pool). Would stay again and planning on it for the future.

We stayed at Beach House Aruba for our 30th Anniversary & Loved it!! It’s not for everyone but it was perfect for us. Love the rustic bohemian vibe!! It could use some updating & would be a real charmer with a little TLC. We were looking for something different than the hi rise resort feel & this was definitely it. We were out most of the day exploring the Island & out at night for dinners & nightlife so didn’t make much sense to stay at a big resort. Ana was wonderful with helping with recommendations for car rental & restaurants & Wilson was always around with a smile to help with anything you needed. The location is perfect!! Close to everything & the most beautiful sunsets are right across the street.

My husband and I finally were able to go on our honeymoon that was canceled due to covid in 2020. 3 years later, we still booked with the same place and so glad we did!! Ana was excellent to work with during covid and changing dates for us. It was a pleasure to meet her finally! Wilson, your go to man, will make you feel at home and do anything to make your stay enjoyable and will exceed expectations! Our room was perfect for our needs. When you’re in paradise, you don’t need much! A good bed, a nice shower, quiet outdoor living space and a pool with fantastic views. I liked that the location is close enough to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Ana even provided us with a discount card that we used many times at local restaurants and bars! This is the place to stay if you’re looking for quiet and to get away from it all. We cannot wait to come back. We also enjoyed the beach across the street.

We have been to Aruba a number of times and have stayed at the Amsterdam Manor and the MVC Eagle beach on previous trips. This trip, we wanted to try something different. We chose the Beach House Aruba apartments. The apartments are located close to Malmok beach and within walking distance to Boca Catalina beach. The apartments have a Lanai set-up with the bathroom/shower and bedroom inside and the living area/kitchen area on the porch (Lanai). We loved it. The location was great, it was quiet, and we were able to meet and socialize with our neighbors. The manager, Anna, was a great manager, very personal and professional. Wilson, the handyman and general all-around great guy really made the trip special. If you are looking for 5-star amenities, this is not the place. If you are looking for a bit of Aruba, friendly staff, and an opportunity to enjoy the Aruba experience, you'll love this location just as much as us.

Aruba Beach House is such a great find. It Was just what we were looking for and needed The area in Noord is very quite compared to the rest of the island ABH is charming with a eclectic ,bohemian esthetic vibe about it (laid back and quiet) the outdoor kitchen and dinning spaces were great it’s location is fantastic it is close to all the best snorkeling and water sports locations ABH IS tucked away from the busy hotel ***** yet still accessible by bus or taxi The staff (Wilson and Anna are lovely ) they were very helpful and provide helpful information about the island as well as assisted us with a car rental and COVID testing prior to our departure. If you are looking for a more authentic Aruban experience with lots of charm and good vibes this is the place . We are very much looking forward to coming back .🙏

Really nice time and the only negative was cable tv not operational. Bathroom no privacy kind of weird to have see through door, no big deal for me was solo. Mosquitos issue. For sure recommend rental car. However, there is a bus you can take as well. Would recommend this place for sure.
