We stayed at Chrousso Village for ten days early June 2024. The resort area was really beautiful with large, well looked-after gardens and fruit trees. Pool areas suited the whole family with a shallow end for the smaller kids. Food was very varied, no complaints there either. The room we had was in one of the older, unrenovated buildings, but it was very spacious, clean and comfortable nevertheless, if maybe not according to the newest design trends. Didn't bother us a bit. What really set this hotel apart was the amazing animation crew, especially Adam and Kasia. Adam really stole the heart of our five-year old and made some everlasting memories for the whole family. He has a rare ability to make everyone feel really happy! Kasia was an amazing tennis coach and our kids absolutely loved her tennis lessons and gained fantastic new skills. She had great energy and always met everyone with a smile. So million thanks Adam, Arthur, Kasia and the rest of the crew, you made our holiday unforgettable! If you want to see around and visit other gorgeus villages and beaches, we warmly recommed renting a car. The hotel is a bit remote, so walking around isn't really an option. Having a car meant that we could drive around and find secluded paradise-like beaches and small villages.

The question is where do I start. Let’s start with the rooms! This hotel advertise its renovated rooms especially on their social media platforms and third party providers, We were given a very dated room which definitely does not warrant a 4 star, the kitchen paint is chipping and doors are coming away, we pointed this out to reception, they stated we had not paid for a renovated room wether this is the travel agents mistake or theirs they have a duty to ensure their 4 star hotel meets the standards a guest would expect it would also help if this was made clear at the time of booking. The staff are generally quite rude it’s not somewhere i get the feeling they want their guests to return year after year. customer service needs some intervention (the lifeguard felt it necessary to tell a friend to wear contact lenses when she mentioned she had not seen a sign) Now let’s get to the the food!! It is terrible, not at any point are you able to get a hot meal, I don’t get what the issue is but the food is cold all day everyday, nothing on offer for young children. We mentioned this and there is little around this hotel complex so if you have fussy eaters your children will enjoy chips. The flys and wasps are everywhere there seems no measure in place to try and solve this. The entertainment is repeated every couple of days and again very little for young children. Positives - generally it’s quite clean and the entertainment team try their best. It completely baffles me how this hotel has been given 4 stars having been to many this has got to be the worst one yet. Be prepared.

The rooms were apparently 'Superior' we paid extra, they were tiny there was no where to put your stuff, there were kept clean though as was the whole site. We went all inclusive but it really wasn't worth it, the food was barely warm at any time of day, cold fried eggs not nice, cold veg. Bar staff really uninterested they were stood around on their phones, and they couldn't make a drink or cocktail if they tried, unless you paid €10 for a cocktail then it was ok. The bar area was very slippery when wet and no signs up. They stated that there was entertainment 6 night per week, there was 2 night but I wouldn't call it entertainment it like they couldn't be bothered. There was no real shade around the pool, no brollies to move as they were bolted down and the sun loungers are old and not very comfortable. Would not waste my money again 😒

I stayed at the hotel for seven days with friends. Great time. Hotel stuff very nice. Near the hotel beach, possibility to rent water equipment and diving. Very good food and entertainment organized by the hotel. We only expected a higher standard of rooms.

This hotel has more negatives than positives.it is very pretty in appearance surrounded by forest and well maintained gardens but don’t be fooled,it is extremely remote and a car is a necessity. The walk to the beach is not 5-10 minutes, more like 20-25 minutes, especially with 2 little children. The expensive beach club takes over most of the beach and we resorted to buying two large umbrellas and finding a small space of sand to set up camp. It feels like the hotel doesn’t want you to leave the resort, no taxi service and the shuttle bus to the next town (too far to walk) has to be booked in advance and is always full. The website is very misleading, no gym, no wellness spa, no laundry service and we booked a junior suite which was in fact just a very small room. Maid service (everyday) consisted of fresh towels and making the beds, little else. The main buffet restaurant was so hot, no aircon, full of wasps and the food below average, sometimes inedible The two pools were too small for the number of guests. The supermarket just outside the hotel gates was well stocked and the staff friendly. The Happy restaurant, next to the supermarket had delicious food and the girl serving worked so hard and was really welcoming, a big shout out to her, I didn’t get her name. The towel guy was friendly, the entertainment team led by Adam ,great fun and worked tirelessly, but the reception staff rude and unhelpful. I could go on but I will leave it there. I love Greece, love Halkidiki but would never come back to this hotel again. It needs major improvement in all areas.

Hotel fair, food okay, weird vibe with the animation team AND Stay away from Santi/Santiago the Animator - he thinks he’s gods gift and hit on me and kiss me. He is a creep! The hotel did nothing when I reported him. I’m will be reporting to the Greek authorities and my travel agent!

A hotel with facilities of maximum 3 stars, in no case 4. The hotel has a very bad location, next to a forest, far from any locality and any means of transport. The distance to the beach is about 900 meters, this distance would not be a problem, but the access road through the forest is desolate, with a lot of garbage and the smell of a public toilet. Even if it is probably not the property of the hotel, I think it should get involved with the local authorities, the road should be laid out, or the hotel could provide a means of transport to the beach. The hotel only has a minibus that provides free transport to the town of Pefkochori, located 9 km away, twice a day, with prior reservation. This is a good thing, but considering that the hotel is completely isolated, this minibus should run more often in the small town, so that all the tourists can benefit from the rides. Considering that the hotel is very isolated, it should offer more facilities in compensation. More swimming pools, jacuzzi, spa, fitness room would be needed. The hotel only has 2 pools for adults, but they are not big enough, and they are crowded at some times of the day. Regarding the cleanliness in the hotel, I can't complain, because the rooms are clean, well-kept, cleaned daily. The only minus related to cleanliness are the towels, which, although they are washed, are a bit old, instead of white, they have a gray color; should be replaced. The rooms are not very big, but we stayed in a renovated superior double room, so everything was new and clean. I was satisfied with the room, especially since all the room terraces are large. The food is not spectacular, but it is quite good and varied. More types of grilled meat would be required (there were days when there were completely no grilled dishes). The drinks at the bar are quite good, but given that the location is so isolated, and far from any town, the bar would need to be open at least until 12pm. At 11 pm the bar closed and you could no longer benefit from any free drinks. It would be necessary to make more water available, possibly in bottles, in the rooms. It's very unpleasant to go and ask the bar for glasses of water all the time. The only big plus of the hotel is the entire hotel staff, who are always kind, help you with everything you need and are always smiling. The entertainment team are fantastic and especially Adam who is amazing who made our stay pleasant and cheerful, Unfortunately these cheerful people cannot fully compensate for the big minuses of the hotel. I will definitely not return to this hotel. Read less
