Olympia Hotel

What a great little family run place too stay. ,We stayed here for 11 days with friends ,we had an amazing time . It's very clean rooms were cleaned every day , food was amazing, and very generous when ordering a drink, especially with spirits . On arrival you get a complimentary drink , which was very welcoming after a long trip . And what can I say about the staff, Mikey, Sam, Dimitri and Maria are just amazing , so friendly and welcoming and would do anything for you. The hotel is very close to the town and beach .I would most definitely recommend to family snd friends . 9

A return trip, with the family this year, and still a great little hidden gem of a hotel. With only 38 rooms and family run, it is exquisite. Nothing is too much trouble, service with a smile every minute of the day or night. Rooms are spacious and comfortable,, good AC in rooms , the breakfast and lunch snacks are delicious and a good selection of drinks available from the bar. Rooms are cleaned daily as are the hotel grounds, by a small army of dedicated staff. Ideally located for meals at The Old Square, only yards away, serving traditional Greek cuisine in a vibrant atmosphere. A huge stretch of beach with golden sand is a 10 minute walk through streets filled with every type of shop from fresh produce, souvenirs and high end boutiques. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, suitable for all ages, families and couples.

What a lovely little hotel Staff were so nice and kind and the lady at the reception.. sorry I forgot her name was just great..she helped us to book a trip which we could not do without her ..thank you The pool was lovely And it's by far the cleanest hotel iv ever stayed in.. spotless and the cleaners clean the pool area and sunbeds every morning... Our rooms were spotless too.. perfect The beer was lovely...never ate there so can't comment The room and balcony was great for my friend and me ...we don't cook on holiday so can't comment on the cooking facilities Amazing restaurant..in the square just along the road..makis yum!! Will definitely return to beautiful halkidiki..and Olympia hotel Thank you all so much

Quite a difficult one this. There is an awful lot to like about this hotel, but also a few frustrating things too. First of all the good points. Super freindly staff, offered a free drink upon arrival too. Great shower, plenty hot water. Air conditioning. Safe. Free wifi which worked fabulously. Very clean, maid service every day, pool area and surroundings spottless Great sunbeds around pool and a couple of mezzanine areas to relax and enjoy the sun into the early evening. Bad points Not enough space/ equipment for S/C purposes, almost impossible to make even the simplist of breakfasts. Our room was top floor in the corner which got almost no sun at all as its northernly facing and set back from others blocking any sunlight we might have got. Also balconies too close together offering no private space. I realise this is a very personal thing but for us it made a huge impact to our holiday, which is a shame because I feel due to these negative reasons we would not use again. But as I opened with, otherwise this is a great little hotel.

What a lovely hotel. Sam the owner picked us up when we were lost after getting off the transfer bus when the driver sent us in the wrong direction. Dimitri the barman/waiter was absolutely fabulous, always a smile on his face and very helpful. The rooms were spotless,cleaners came in every day and the towels were white and soft and changed every couple of days. There was a welcome drink of our choice on arrival which was a nice touch. The food was very tasty and big portions. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Small supermarket when you leave hotel, turn left and it's about 2 minutes walk, next is Las Pas restaurant which I highly recommend, then the old square is just a minute after with just a few bars and restaurants, more restaurants as you walk towards the beach which is roughly 8 minutes away. Would we return? Yes definitely

Rooms are cleaned daily. Towels changed every 2/ 3 days. Unfortunately our bed linen was only changed once during an 11 night stay. It looked pretty grubby by the end of our stay. Kitchen sink broke (eroded plumbing issue) but was fixed promptly. Not sure what was going on with wire in bathroom, looked worrying but didn't cause us an issue. However, when around the hotel pool, did feel very much like being watched and a bit stifled. The list of don'ts was long, and a part English conversation between staff ended with ' I must be speaking another language". I'm guessing a rule had been broken....🤣 My advice would be to use the facilities at the nearby Anna hotel. Relaxed, fun and 3 lovely pools with no rule board !
