Balate Maqueda B&B

Central position. Apparently courteous owner until the moment we received a fine for failure to register the license plate in the restricted traffic zone due to his negligence. We contacted him several times and from an initial response to "fix" the matter, once the report arrived it disappeared. Not very honest in my opinion.

Located in the center of the beating heart of the city, it offers large and well-furnished rooms. The cleanliness is excellent and it is close to all the main attractions of the city. I recommend it to make the most of the Palermo experience.

Well located, well soundproofed, very quiet despite a room overlooking the street, decent breakfast although the room is a little too small to accommodate all guests at the same time. Small downside on the reception which was a little cold and the hotel manager was not necessarily willing to give tourist information and advice for our stay. Maybe *** friendly but not necessarily girl friendly.

We stayed in this property for 4 nights in the center of Palermo. Despite the noisy and very busy area, we managed to rest well thanks to the excellent soundproofing of the windows. The room was spacious and clean, cleaning done promptly every morning. Excellent buffet breakfast with Sicilian specialties and more, in the shared kitchen of this property. We asked if it was possible to have lactose-free products and we were satisfied, everything was fresh and of excellent quality. At any time you could enjoy free drinks and snacks always placed in the kitchen. We reached all the main attractions in just a few steps. Owner always available at all times and for anything, we felt at home. I highly recommend, great holiday!

Perfect B&B in the very center of Palermo, really close to everything, ideal for visiting the city and for returning for a break without having to travel kilometers or waste time. Very clean and tastefully furnished room, equally clean and tidy common area, equipped with every comfort and with snacks and fruit available. We were unable to take advantage of the breakfast in the facility (due to the last few days of covid restrictions), but we also enjoyed our time at the bar for which we were provided with tickets. Both Andrea and his father (who welcomed us) were extremely kind and helpful. We will recommend it!

Located in the heart of Palermo in a very suggestive period building, we were immediately welcomed with kindness and professionalism. The location has attention to detail and the room is equipped with all comforts. Highly recommended rating 10
