From arrival to departure our stay was nothing short of 5 stars. This property has perfected not only service but also world class dining. The rooms are spacious with everything one could desire. The restaurants are not only romantic Italy but the food was amazing. To wrap it up the concierge team made sure our tours were flawless.

this place was the highlight of Palermo. We were upgraded due to our Amex reservations and we had a spectacular suite! The service here was magnificent, the gym was super spacious and clean. The breakfast was on the best we had in Italy. The room besides spacious was so comfortable! Love this hotel

We stayed at this Palermo property for two nights at the end of our trip to Sicily. This historical property is very beautiful, with elegant touches around every corner. Our suite was very well appointed to the level one would expect of a property of this calibre. We have become big fans of Rocco Forte properties and this property well meets the standard. Service was thoughtful, refined, personal and on point. The staff is well trained. Expectations at this price point are high, and they were met. The property is not located in the historical old town. It is located near the port. Traffic is a bit nuts in Palermo but it is not too long a ride between downtown / old town Palermo and Villa Igiea. The traffic is a part of experiencing Palermo. The property is very lovely inside and outside. The pool area is not very big and the sea view includes the industrial port, but we did not come to this property to sit at the pool. Villa Igiea is rich in history and is a very elegant choice for exploring Palermo. Food was excellent. Service at the restaurants was exceptional throughout.

An amazing oasis just outside Palermo, which isn't the prettiest city, or cleanest! Nevertheless Villa Igiea lives up to it's reputation in offering understated elegance. From the welcome to our departure we could not fault this hotel. The service, rooms and ambience were superb. the food is excellent, and the service at the pool restaurant headed by Geronimo (I think that's how you spell his name) made every meal there an absolute pleasure . We had a room overlooking the bay which was spacious and well decorated. The evening entertainment is pleasantly discreet and great cocktails at the bar and terrace. While we wouldn't return to Palermo, as we'd try another side of the island, if you are going to Palermo, this is the hotel to stay at.

The service was 5 star. There was one particular staff member who made our stay memorable, Monica. She was very in tune with our needs and made accommodations for us. The concierge Francisco was amazing upon check-in answering all of our questions witjiur acception.

We came here from the Sicily sister property, Verdura Resort, and have previously stayed at The Charles in Munich. This property had the best service of all 3. We were upgraded to a suite after having a couple issues at Verdura and were blown away with the size and views. We had a big sitting area room, separate bedroom, hallway of closet space and a spacious bathroom with 2 sinks at the vanity and nice size shower (and separate tub). All beautifully appointed as well as luxurious linens. The front desk staff and patio lounge staff were over the top friendly. Exactly what you would expect at a hotel of this caliber. We didn’t use the pool but walked past it and although there were plenty of loungers spread around the area the pool itself was small (especially compared to the Verdura!) We had a questionable taxi fare (40e) from the city center that was only 8 minutes away so be aware. No fault of the hotels, just a side note for visitors as the city center requires a taxi ride after the shuttle hours have ended. Overall, we throughly enjoyed our stay here and only wished it had been longer.

Not much to add that hasn't been written. This is one of the finest hotels not just in Sicily but all of Italy. Concierge/Front Desk check in/Bell colleagues/to the incredible matre d and servers in the Florio restaurant. EXCELLENCE beyond. Our room was spectacular as we upgraded to a one bedroom suite in adjoining building which was one of the finest hotel rooms and terraces we have had the pleasure to stay. WOW. Anastasia/Martina/Roy and I wish I wrote down all the other names of people that made our experience life memorable. Florio staff. ALL. I would be remiss to not also comment on the great dinners and breakfasts we had. Superb. Grazie and thank you again to everyone!

Villa Igea is a beautiful property in a perfect location with immaculate service. We stayed here last month for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The architecture, design, landscape and the way the hotel is so well maintained! We were upgraded to a suite which was such a treat! It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Very nice, luxurious toiletries. We had lovely views of the hotel grounds and the sea and it looks like all of the rooms have very similar views. The hotel offers a shuttle to the city center as well as to a nice beach club (access included with your stay) which is a nice extra value. We tried all restaurants for all meals as well as the cocktail bar and the food, wine and drinks were good on each single occasion. The atmosphere is also very welcoming. The bar had a DJ on a few nights which was great. The service everywhere is five stars! Everyone that works at Villa Igiea is super professional but also friendly, attentive and always making sure that you are having a great experience. Special thank you to Daniele in Sales; Giuseppe, Alesia, Anastasia Irene and Francesco at the Front Desk/Concierge; Roy and Martina in the Restaurant; the team at the pool. We highly recommend this amazing hotel and hope to be back one day soon.
