The environment of the hotel was very pleasant. There were not many guests and the large garden was impressive, but it was uncomfortable that it was located somewhat far from the city. Breakfast was very common and not impressive, but the kindness of the hotel staff left a very good impression.

I had the opportunity to stay in Palermo at the wonderful luxury hotel "Villa del Gattopardo." The location is breathtaking, a historic villa and an absolute delight. The menu is meticulously curated, with delicate and refined dishes that pay great attention to guests' dietary intolerances. The breakfast is excellent, featuring local products, with delicious cakes and pastries prepared by the chef. There is a great selection of wines, though, during my stay, I opted for the excellent Sicilian wines. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is welcoming and private. The rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this splendid place where peace, tranquillity, and privacy are at home.

It was a rainy day on our entry, we parked our car at the gate and walked under rain and waited at the main gate for 10 minutes more until the receptionist opened the door. We were as wet as rats until welcomed to main building after a 100 meters more walking. Hotel is a fantastic old palace like building, architecture is breath taking, it gives a different sprit, however rooms are at base level with small windows, most probably which were servant rooms originally, not suitable to spend much time. Hotel is away from Palermo center, if you don't plan to use car, it will be very hard to manage your Palermo visit. Breakfast was excellent, the lady serving the breakfast was so friendly and so helpful. After spending 4 days in Palermo, I would say, Gattopardo was ok but we saw better alternatives in the city center with the same price range.

Hotel located somewhat out of town with little ‘neighbourhood’ to speak of - need transportation to go anywhere. A slightly complicated system of remote control arrival gates to get in/out. Extensive gardens are newly developed with a feature water fountain but core villa building is historic. Re-modeled rooms lack light and layout is fit around old building structure, with tight bathroom facilities. Bed linen is elaborate vintage with crochet and handmade embroidery. Comprehensive breakfast in classic dining room and a ‘to-go’ box when needed for early checkout. Staff were very helpful.

Very beautiful and stylish interior, spacious rooms , great spa ( swimming pool and steam) and excellent massage, very friendly staff . Good location not far from Palermo , beautiful and well maintained gardens. Secure parking, 2 restaurants( fine and pizzeria ) in 50 meters from hotel.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a BIG mistake! The staff were too busy to help us. The room was OK, we were put above an empty conference room, the place was empty. They advertised a spa, but were told when we arrived that we couldn’t use unless we booked in advance. The breakfast was a depressing affair with other diners there that were equally unimpressed with the selection of food. In fact, there was hardly any good available. The orange juice was out of a packet! Crazy, when there are so many oranges growing in the area. I would not recommend you stay here. It’s also in the middle of nowhere.

This is a beautiful, historic home with modern amenities. Staying here was one of the highlights of a very enjoyable trip to Sicily. The breakfast is well worth it, too. The neighborhood is safe, although its appearance belies the beauty that lies beyond the gates of the Villa Gattopardo. It's like entering another century and world. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Highly recommended!! My only caution is that this is not the place for children under the age of 14 due to all of the beautiful antiques.

The location was super peaceful, but a very quick cab ride into downtown, the team was amazing helpful, and the room was very comfortable. There is construction work being done on the main villa, which will be incredible when completed. And the pizzeria next door is outstanding - truly a must try.

The hotel is in impeccable condition, the staff is helpful and kind in all aspects of customer service, even if any unexpected event arises which they immediately know how to remedy, making you forget about the problem that has been created. new location recently renovated elegant and comfortable rooms.
