San Francesco Rooms and Apartment with Terrace in Palermo

We stayed for three nights. The room and building were spotlessly clean and everything was finished to a high standard. Our Host replied promptly to our communication although we never met her in person. We met no-one. In the room was left, what she described as, breakfast for two for three mornings. It was a lot of sugar, a pile of jams, chocolate spread, honey and even a lollipop, but only a couple of packets of cracker toast, enough for one each (two small slices) each morning and 2 small very sweet cakes. We were left 6. In total, coffee pods but no milk or sugar. There was some cheap cartoned drinks in the fridge This was not a breakfast. The towels were a good size but very frayed and scratchy. We didn't know about the ZTL in which the accommodation and yhe recommended car park is location - what a faff paying the 5euro pass and still not sure if we are going to get a fine. Our hosts were less than helpful in this regard I would not recommend this property to anyone travelling by car. It is very well situated in the heart of the historic area. Our hosts recommended a restaurant nearby and offered us a welcome drink and a drink to finish. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, no even the free drink made it worth it. We were told we had a 'City View' what we actually had was a view of the building 6 foot away and down the street. We found the apartment very noisy at night as there was a popular bar right under our balcony. The building seems to have been recently renovated. There was a lot of electrical power sockets, which we found useful.

I had a lovely trip to Palermo, Sicily, in April/May 2023, and was fortunate to find San Francesco Rooms. My son and his family had stayed in one of the rentals on a previous visit. The building is beautifully appointed, and I felt safe and secure there. The single room that I rented had a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, stovetop and a counter for eating meals. The main area had an occasional chair, a large bed and side table, a desk area with mini-refrigerator and plenty of clothes storage. There is a nice-size balcony with pretty, potted flowers to make you feel at home. The bathroom was a good size and included a sink, walk-in shower, toilet & bidet, and a small washing machine. There is good Wi-Fi reception. San Francesco Rooms is also in a great location, close to shops, dining and historical sites. The owners, Grazia and Roberto are pleasant people who tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend San Francesco Rooms.

I had an incredible experience staying here. You couldn't find a better location in Palermo. You're a literal stone's throw from the Antica Focacceria and the street restaurants and bars of Alessandro Pasternostro, and easy walking distance to Piazza Marina and the Cioccolateria Lorenzo, Quattro Canti and Francu's, and in the heart of the Kalsa. The rooms are comfortable and sparkling clean. Above all, the hosts made me feel at home and like a long-lost family member. Not only have I stayed here multiple times, I have also recommended others stay here, and everyone's just as enthusiastic.

Very very good localization!! And the Grazia was a very very very kind host!! We love Palermo! Good wine, good food, good vibes! Traffic is a little chaotic but it’s an experience! Thank you for all, we will be back as sops as possible! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I highly recommend these apartments! Everything was at the highest level! The apartments are located in the center of the old city, where there are many architectural monuments and many cozy restaurants and cafes. New modern renovation, everything is clean and arranged for our convenience and pleasant stay! The owners of the apartments are very polite and kind, they were pleasantly surprised by the service and willingness to help and tell us what to do for our vacation!🥰🥰

A very great place to stay at, for a very reasonable price. Very modern and clean with all appliances. The hosts were kind and caring and made sure my stay was perfect. The location could get be better as the old town is a stone throw away. Would definitely stay here if I'm ever in the beautiful city of Palermo. Robertas

This lovely quirky apartment is a gem in the heart of Palermo. Eventhough it is small, it feels spacious and light. As a digital nomad, it is a great spot to work from. I loved the patio and the bed is amazing! Roberto and his wife are very friendly and helpful who respond very quick.
