What can I say, if I had to go back to Palermo, with my eyes closed I would still choose this structure. Because of its central location, even if the Vucciria district turns into a dirty little party square in the evening. But the cleanliness of the structure, the availability and kindness of the staff which is something wonderful to which all my compliments go, the spacious capes and with all the comforts make this place a highly recommended place given the value for money.

Pleasant experience a stone's throw from the historic center of Palermo, a magnificent city, an explosion of heat, flavors and aromas in the air. The manager Marcello was helpful and friendly. Characteristic location with large common areas and a beautiful terrace overlooking the church of San Domenico. Clean and bright room. From there you can breathe the folklore of Vucciria and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of this city. Nearby station with all the connections needed to reach the airport but also to visit the coast and the wonderful sea that you can admire from the train.

My experience at Alla Loggia del Gattopardo was truly terrible. I booked many months in advance using a smart box given to me, and I would have liked to extend my stay by paying, but unfortunately the structure was completely inaccessible and unavailable. I tried to contact both the facility by every means, but I couldn't find any way to get in touch with them. After several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to cancel the reservation made on Booking, as recommended by the structure itself, and then book again once at the hotel. (Securing the room) However, once I arrived, I found myself faced with a reception that had been abandoned since 6pm, with totally absent and inadequate staff. Although the structure is nice and is located in a privileged position in the historic center of Palermo, it is not at all suitable for disabled people as it has no lift. Furthermore, the lack of staff and complete lack of cooperation made my stay extremely frustrating. Finally, the staff I encountered were unhelpful and unprofessional, with an evasive attitude towards the issues I raised. In particular, Mr. Marcello refused to assume any responsibility, limiting himself to referring to the mysterious Mr. Vito about whom nothing is known. In conclusion, I strongly advise against Alla Loggia del Gattopardo to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing and problem-free holiday, because you could probably suddenly be left without accommodation or have to book somewhere else.
