Very charming place, a nice friendly owner. She makes fantastic breakfast. The room was very clean. My stay was almost perfect. However, had a tough time to stay sleep at night since there was no sound proof between the rooms. I did hear every inch of sound so clearly from downstairs. May be it’s an architect mystery but it was bizarre. I would suggest to book a whole place for yourself since it’s only three rooms then you can really enjoy the charm of place.

Awesome! A beautiful lodge in a lovely setting. We stayed in the master suite. Beds were comfortable, very nice bathroom and shower. Very spacious lodge, very comfortable, pleasant and clean. Breakfasts were tasty and prepared with care. Homemade yogurt, fresh berries and bread. Monique and Peter were very gracious and proud of their lodge, and they should be. Monique, we’re trying to make yogurt like yours! Sometimes successful. We hope our travels will bring us back to the area again.

Woman who owns it is rude. The walls are so thin you can hear every single thing going on in every room. You pull up and there’s no decor, no signs or flowers-nothing. Looks like something out of a horror movie.

I had placed a reservation months ago to guarantee a place to stay with my SAR dog. Website states Pet Friendly. I received an email stating my reservation was cancelled. Just that, no explanation. I called and was told by a very rude woman that she was owner and could do whatever she wanted. Would NEVER consider recommending this place to anyone.

Second visit since pre-covid. Every piece of Moniques cabin is in the same place as when we left. Not a dust particle visible and even the rustic new wood scent was pleasantly evident in the ambience. It was extremely hot and therefore a blessing that the air conditioning worked very well. We recall Moniques breakfast being outstanding & what we did not expect was her to be so flexible. I was running late for an outing with friends waiting on us. No problem, Monique made us a breakfast "to go" and never made us feel uncomfortable. She was "more than happy to help us" She even used aluminum foil to help keep our breakfast warm! The cabin is so spacious that even when she has other guests, you feel like her place belongs to you. Will we return? You Betcha!

I don’t generally like writing negative reviews but our stay at “Lodge Solange” was horrible. The host, Monique, was extremely rude. She was drinking/partying so loudly both nights that we never slept because the walls are paper thin-BAD
