Very comfortable bed on the Camino. I had a private room and it had a walk out balcony area. Friendly staff. Great stay

Small hotel on the edge of town. No restaurant available in Oct, but we used a very nice bistro further down the hill, along with a local bar. Comfortable and clean with modern bathroom and good shower.

Whilst this was a basic pension it was clean with excellent breakfast and staff that were most obliging. In particular, the lass at breakfast who went out of her way. We are gluten free and this was catered for without any problem. Upon arrival we were delighted to find our suitcases in our rooms. And as we left she made sure our suitcases were ready (I had a problem with the label) and we knew where to go. Whilst it is slightly out of the way it was not a problem.

Very good pension just off the Camino. A couple of minutes walk from the centre of the town (which is not very nice in my opinion). The lady on reception was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was very good, everything fresh. Highly recommend.

I stayed here as part of my Camino trip, staying 1 night, it was basic and comfortable but did not appear on Google maps as I expected. It was a little of the beaten track.

Excellent staff, she was very hard working. She checked us in, helped us with directions, brought up a hair dryer and then she is serving us breakfast in the morning! Which was great by the way! She also helped load luggage for people into the transfer vehicle. Very nice place, I would recommend !

My main objection to this pension is it's location. It is about 1/2 mile away from nearest businesses down a dark quiet street. I felt uncomfortable walking alone at night since there were very few people on the street. Otherwise, the room was nice, great shower, comfy bed, clean and modern. Breakfast was good too, fresh squeezed OJ, pastries, etc.

Booked two rooms while walking the Camino. Situated on the edge of the town the Pension is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommended and very good value for money.

This is THE ONLY place to stay in Palas de Rei. The service is top notch, the rooms are clean and heated, and there is a breakfast spread that is a little better than those offered along the Camino. Breakfast: ham, salami, tomatoes, cheese, cereal, fruits, bread, juice, coffee and tea. Our room was on the third floor and it was a room with a view - very rare to have this when you walk the Camino. Best of all was the dinner they arranged. It was the best along the Camino, a 6-course meal.

Nice hotel on the Santiga's Way. Hotel is very clean and prices are reasonable. Owner is very nice, she did understand reason of my late arrival and I appreciated. Position is exactly on the Way, I would come again for sure.

Efficient check-in and asked to get a room facing a field with a city view - that’s was no problem. Big and clean rooms just a 5 min walk to the nearest restaurant.

We stayed here for 1 night on our Camino. Pluses: 1. Very friendly & kind owner 2. Large, sunny rooms overlooking the hills 3. Clean, quiet, secure 4. Excellent price point if you don't want to stay in dorms 5. Lots of outlets, free & fast wifi 6. Fridge in room! Minuses: 1. A bit outside town, so prepare to do MORE walking to get food ;) 2. Not really a charming, cozy hostal feel- this hotel could be anywhere in the world, not necessarily rural Spain 3. No free breakfast, but Camino hotels rarely offer

Das Hotel besticht vor allem durch seine außergewöhnliche Sauberkeit. Jeder Bereich, vom Empfang bis zu den Zimmern, war makellos gepflegt, Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber keineswegs spartanisch. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Betten, Auch die Dusche im Badezimmer verdient ein Lob: Der Wasserdruck war hervorragend und die Temperaturregelung funktionierte einwandfrei, Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war das Fehlen eines Restaurants für das Abendessen. Wer abends im Hotel essen möchte, muss leider auf externe Restaurants ausweichen. Das Frühstück hingegen war einfach, aber sehr gut. Es gab eine angemessene Auswahl an frischen und leckeren und auch glutenfreien Speisen, die den Start in den Tag erleichterten. Besonders erfreulich war der freundliche Service des Personals, das stets bemüht war, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen, der eine saubere, komfortable und preiswerte Unterkunft sucht und auf ein Abendessen im Hotel verzichten kann
