Absolutely Exceptional – A Hidden Gem That Feels better than 5 Stars! From the moment I arrived, everything about my stay was simply amazing. Although it’s officially a 3-star hotel, the experience felt like something straight out of a luxury 5-star resort. The staff truly made all the difference. Hector, Uri, Irena, and the rest of the team were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. Their warmth and attentiveness went above and beyond what I expected — it genuinely felt like they cared about making every guest’s stay perfect. The atmosphere was dreamy, like something pulled straight from Pinterest. Beautiful decor, cozy vibes, and thoughtful touches everywhere made it feel both relaxing and inspiring. Another huge plus: the location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the beach! Whether you’re heading out for a morning swim or catching the sunset, it couldn’t be more convenient. One moment that really stood out: on the day I checked out, I had to leave earlier than the usual breakfast time, which was unfortunate because they bake all their pastries in-house — and trust me, they smelled amazing. I let them know I’d be checking out at 7 AM, and to my surprise, the chef and team went above and beyond and kindly prepared a to-go snack/breakfast for me. It honestly didn’t matter what it was — it was the thought and the gesture that meant the most. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’ll absolutely be coming back. Hostal Es Niu is a totally renovated house in Tamariu, beautifully and stylishly decorated, with a fantastic chill-out area inside the house and outside in the garden. It has some rental apartments next door that belong to the Hostal. We did rent the Apartment Sa Dona with friends, on a long weekend. This apartment includes a parking space, which is very useful in summer, I guess. It is totally renovated, very well furnished and equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. It has 2 double rooms, a small single room, 1 bathroom and a common space with kitchen, table and lounge area. Then there is a wonderful terrace with a large table and another enormous terrace upstairs to enjoy full views and the sun. It is located 200 m from the beach, outside the busier area. Wi-fi connection works perfectly. It did totally fulfill our expectations, so we recommend. It is a very nice place to stay.

Very friendly staff. Héctor was great - ver accessible and he and his co-worker have innkeepers hearts. They were just opening up for the season, so Tamariu was a ghost town - make sure to bring food at this time of year so that you aren't forced to drive all the way to Palafrugell for a food store. Es Niu had a refrigerator for guests to use. Sweet place.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful

Overall this apartment was ok, the apartment was clean but for the price they charge in August it is expensive for what you get. The apartment is compact for 4 but worked ok and long as you kept the place tidy, the equipment in the kitchen was basic but we were able to cook several meals during our stay. Beds were ok, but not particularly comfortable, not terrible, but you can tell the mattresses are cheap. We stayed in the apartment on the first floor facing the road and it was particularly noisy. Constant cars, motorcycles and lorries driving past all day which was not very restful when trying to enjoy the balcony. However, the apartments are less than a 200m walk from the beach and local shops so for location they were great.

Great location, quiet, nice breakfast options, right by the beach, helpful staff - highly recommended!
