The hotel’s location is great it is at the center and have restaurants and motorcycle rentals around it. The room is clean and spacious and the lobby and terrace is a great place to relax. The staff are nice. The only comment i have is the noise of karaoke every night that i can hear in my room which i find it hard to rest!
This was the only hotel I ever stayed at in Pakse, so don't have a way to compare it to other places, but it was priced as high or higher than most other places in town. Setup was a little strange, felt like someone's home that got converted to a hotel. Also felt like it wasn't originally designed as a 5 story building but rather that floors were subsequently added. Staff speaks little to no English with the exception of one older lady that seemed to be translating for everyone. The breakfast room at the top floor was nicely setup with beautiful river view. Breakfast was basic but nice. My room was a little dated and very basic. It had everything I needed, just everything felt super old. Curtains couldn't be properly closed all the way and the room could not be kept dark in the mornings. I also had a problem with ants in the bathroom, in my toothpaste, my shaving cream and on the towels. Overall not a bad place to stay, but when I return to Pakse I will probably try some other hotels before returning to this property.
Pros
- Overall bed and bed sheet are above our expectations, clean, soft and fragrances. We slept in deeper, very nice. ☺️😴
- The staff are friendly and helpful while we request to check out at 7am, they were willing to wait patiently until the boss receive the called to confirmed check out. Great services. 🌞🎖️
-The price are reasonable. 💸 Best choice.
Cons
- No lift in this building, only staircase so you need climb up with luggage 🙁
- Shared bathroom, a bit inconvenient 😬
Overall Experience:-
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a very pleasant stay at Pakse Hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The services were consistently good, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The facilities were also well-maintained and comfortable. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would happily stay again.
In the same size city as the small town of Base, this Sengoalang is already the top of the local area. Although I can't complain about 😂😂😂, according to the national conditions of Laos, third world countries, we can't have requirements, hahahahaha...because there are requirements and it doesn't help...People are on that condition. ...One person at the front desk can speak English, and the others speak Thai (~ can translate software to wait, signal 2-3G... Hahaha... often disconnected the network... Don't say it... Hahaha... Make up for it yourself 😅)...
It was easy to find using navigation. The room was great, the spacious courtyard was very relaxing, and the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely return for my next business trip.
