Lilawalai Resort
4.5/56 Reviews
We stayed at Liliwalai Resort for a few nights as part of an organized birding holiday. Although the grounds are beautiful and well kept my honest rating would be 3.5 for the room itself. It was in a row of rooms and was quite average in size and amenities. Although without much of a view to anything it served our basic needs. It appears the wooden Thai houses located farther from the restaurant would be a better room choice than the attached rows of rooms. The restaurant meals were generally well prepared however staff were at times a bit confused/slow to serve us. The WiFi was some of the fastest we experienced in our travels throughout the country. There is a pool but we didn't make use of it. Overall, a nice resort.

The most quiet, private accommodation, condo style that allows us to feel relaxed like at home. But get close to nature, feel the ozone of the forest. And there is also a free onsen to soak for guests as well. It's very relaxing. This time we stayed in the suite 1-bedroom which is a large room with a spacious area with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 living room and a small kitchen zone. with dining table There is a balcony for you to sit and enjoy the cool breeze as well. Very refreshing. Anyone who likes relaxing massage must not miss Varin Wellness Club, the largest one-stop spa in Khao Yai. Located inside the hotel, there are Thai massages, oil massages, or treat fatigue with salt spa. And there is a water bed for healing pain as well. For dinner, we leave our stomach at Chan Pha restaurant. Isaan style Thai restaurant You must not miss it must be grilled snake fish. Spicy sauce. Eat with side dishes is the best. Breakfast is served as a buffet style. There are a variety of food lines.

Lala Mukha Tented Resort Khao Yai

Stayed in the Deluxe Signature Tent. Upon check-in, I was charged an additional fee for two children, and the explanation at that time was ”250 baht per child (about 7 USD) with breakfast included”. It's fine, and I paid 500 baht for 2 kids. However, when I asked for an extra bed in the room, the front woman staff told me ”800 baht per person including breakfast” and tried to charge me an additional 1,600 baht (about 45 USD). I asked her why she whold charge me 800 baht including breakfast just for asking for a bed again when I had already paid 500 baht for the two kids together including breakfast. However, she responds with a derisive laugh, saying that it is also written in Agoda. However, no matter where I looked on Agoda, the price and conditions were not clearly stated, and when I told her and other staff there about this, I don't know if they couldn't understand my English or were too lazy to respond, but they turned their heads to the side and kept repeating ”800 baht per person” without even trying to listen to me. Finally a man who could handle the situation came out and explained to me that if we needed a bed, it would be 800 baht per person, and if not, it would be 250 baht per person. He said, ”I think one extra bed per room is fine, so you only need to add 550 baht.” I agreed and requested the extra bed. When I returned to the room, I found just a sheet and a pillow on the small sofa that was originally in the room. (Not a sofa bed, but really just a sofa). In short, they made us pay 15 USD for a bed sheet, which did not contribute at all to the child's sleeping comfortably. Other than that, the level of breakfast was not at all worth the money (several items on the buffet plates were gone and when I asked for extra items, I was told they were already out of them). If you are looking for at least the level of service for the price you paid, I would recommend choosing another hotel.
Sala Khaoyai

The best of our vacation at Khao Yai this time must be given to Sala Khao Yai, the new zone. It is a minimalist accommodation with soft tone control, unique design, lined up on a 360 degree hill in a private tropical atmosphere, suitable for inviting girlfriends to come in the most suite. The main highlight Must give Infinity Pool, a large swimming pool on a high hill, 360 degree view without blocking. Can come and watch during the sunrise and sunset, wow! Our room is One Bedroom Pool Villa Onsen Suite, I must say that there are only 4 rooms in this zone, which is beyond description. The villa is located on the hillside with sunrise view. that is very romantic Inside the room large bed There is a tub to soak in the room. Spacious bathroom divided into dry and wet zones. A with His and Her washbasin, a good size villa swimming pool There is a pavilion for us to enjoy the Out door atmosphere and that cannot be missed. Soak in a private onsen tub with a view of the mountain, Panorama Sala Hilltop Restaurant, an All Day Dining restaurant that serves a variety of food. For both Western menus, Thai traditional Thai food, flavor to curry paste. and includes A la cart breakfast or you can order to eat in the villa as well.
