We have an excellent stay at Movenpick khaoyai! Friendly staff, instagrammable hotel, very relaxing view, a perfect place for staycation. A must visit place in Khaoyai.

This hotel has The Wow Factor from the moment you are welcomed through the gate. The attention to detail in the design is impeccable; everywhere you glance has a well curated collection of very tasteful, rail inspired artefacts, pictures and paintings. Bill Bensley’s incredible eye! The WhatsApp function makes communicating with reception simple and the buggy’s seem to track you down as soon as you attempt to walk anywhere. The Papillon carriage is stunning and Somyings is so light and airy for breakfast. The breakfast offerings were amazing. The gravlax salmon, selection of cheese (Khao Yai Brie!) were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Thai food whilst my partner appreciated the western bacon, eggs and real (not hotdog!) sausages. The Earl grey tea was a very welcomed addition. Never did we imagine when we entered the room that we would be greeted by this beautiful sweeping view of Toscana Valley. My wife and me simply lost our breath. Our city view room was a picture of Tuscany itself, with its Mediterranean warm yellows and orange-colored homes and buildings. The room was simply excellent. It was clean, spacious and well-designed with a kitchenette where one could have the hotel’s complimentary coffee or tea. It’s Wifi connectivity was also good. We had our breakfast and dinner during our 3 day-stay at the Town Square because we wanted to. The views from there and the ambience with its cobbled streets were simply superb. We felt we were in Italy. We never thought we could enjoy a hotel so much. We are going back again next year, maybe during the rainy season for another stay.

Customer service was up to par , except for a few staffs who were hard to communicate with because they couldn’t converse in English well! Otherwise very helpful and did their best to help out despite the barriers in between! Excellent place with a perfect mountain view. Enjoyed renting the buggy to ride around with my family! This is a place worth the bucket list!

One of the most satisfying hotels I've ever stayed in! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the tents are spacious and comfortable! The hotel restaurant has a beautiful view and provides a farm-to-table dining experience. If you also want to be close to nature and seek a healthy lifestyle, this hotel will be one of the best choices!

I like the decoration here. It's a mix of Luxurious, comfortable like a pool villa with the adventure of a tent together perfectly. The facilities in the accommodation are considered good and complete. The location of the accommodation is not far from the city. Excellent cleanliness. The service is excellent and most importantly suitable for those who love animals and able to stay Because there are facilities for pets, there is a large and well-maintained private lawn, suitable for relaxation at Privacy and peace and luxury and comfort.

Nice hotel with beautiful swimming pool. But room is a bit small and many staff with limited English. Dinner was disastrous, only 1 restaurant in the resort and they asked us to view the menu by scanning the QR code, but actually only 1 starter available plus 6-7 main courses to pick from. The menu also doesn’t change everyday, might as well just print it out to save customers’ time and effort scanning. Had pad thai and steak for dinner. The prawn in the pad Thai doesn’t taste fresh, we asked for medium for the steak but it was raw in the middle. Taste was not good. If u are planning to stay here for few days and not planning to dine outside, good luck. U might ended up starving since the menu for in-room dining is exactly the same. However I have to say the breakfast was pretty good, omelette was done well, with fresh side dishes and homemade yogurt etc to choose from.

Reception was very welcoming and then we were taken to our room which was fantastic. We had a great view of the pool and restaurant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We had dinner at the Thai restuarant which was great, beautifull views with good service and great food. Breakfast the next morning at the clubhouse was worth the walk but we could have opted for a ride there. Just about anything you could have wanted for breakfast was there.Great views over the golf course.

First time to Khao Yai and happy we chose this resort. Do note, there are two resorts in this location, which can be a little confusing - Muthi Maya and Kiri Maya. Kiri Maya, it appears, is mostly geared towards folks staying at the golf course on the premises. We stayed in a Forest Pool Villa room, which was absolutely incredible. Every villa is nestled away from the main traffic at the resort and was very private. The room itself was very large, including a ridiculously huge bathroom complete with oversized soaking tub. The beds were comfortable and large, with fresh linens and medium/soft pillows. The main attraction was obviously the private pool, measuring in at around 7 meters by 3 meters. Unfortunately, given the fact that we came in January, the water was pretty frigid, so we only managed a very brief dip. That said, there's ample space, lounge chairs, and a large outdoor sofa to simply relax in. Service was exceptional from check-in to check-out. The staff was friendly and helpful, and if you speak English, also bi-lingual. We never ordered room service or ate at the on-site restaurant, but did enjoy the large breakfast buffet. While maybe not as diverse as a big Bangkok area breakfast buffet, the spread was still impressive - fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, egg station, boiled rice, dim sum selections, along with some staple Thai dishes like fried rice, boiled rice, and more. There are quite a few on-site food options, including being able to have a private chef and BBQ at your villa, or a special mookata BBQ with various different kinds of set menus. However, the prices, as expected, are pretty high. There are a TON of local food options in the area, including some exceptionally tasty (and cheap) Thai restaurants just a short drive away. One interesting attraction was the Forest of Illusion, a short on-site self-guided walking tour on the grounds. Starting at 6 PM, you can walk a short path around the resort complemented by fun lights, laser displays, and more. For some reason, this season's theme is Snoopy and Peanuts, which did seem a bit odd. Do note, the Forest of Illusion does cost 350 Baht per person, which is steep. It was mitigated by a small 10% discount for being a resort guest, but overall I'm not sure the value is really there to justify such a high price. Overall, our experience here was great and we're already planning another visit next year, perhaps during the low season to better take advantage of the pool!
