Dhow Inn is the epitome of a great hotel right on tbe beach. Cool calm colours, top service and amazing pools. Its very relaxed without that big plastic resort feel. 10 out of 10!

It's a nice beach hotel, having a good restaurant and the staff is very friendly. To be recommended except regarding their laundry service because they are not offering to clean separate individual items of clothing as is usually offered in most hotels. A fully loaded washing machine would be charged even if you only need to wash a single item.

We booked this hotel only 1 week before we were due to arrive as our initial hotel cancelled on us due to maintenance issues We arrived around 6am and was met by a lovely man on reception who explained a few of the main points about the hotel. We got the key to our room ,as we had booked it for the day before. We booked a premium room on an all inclusive basis. Breakfast was fine with limited options to pick from. Both lunch and dinner was of a better standard with various options to pick from or you could have the A la carte menu in the evening. Same choices every night though plus you had to pay a premium for a few options. Drinks were ok with local spirits used. If you wanted premium spirits then you pay extra for them. Just be careful when ordering as on occasions when I ordered rum and cokes I was given bacardi rum and the next day I had to sign for payment. This issue was resolved quickly by management. All in all the hotel is well managed and all the staff were very friendly and really do look after you. Too many to mention. Entertainment is limited. Only 1 show every week and the same show the following week. No games or entertainment during the day. The hotel also offers various trips but we never took up the offer as we hired a scooter from a local company just outside the hotel and travelled all around the island.

After a bit of a rocky start - due to the 'all inclusive' package and management!! I can honestly say this is a great place to stay. The hotel is very chill and relaxing. No problems with sunbeds or overcrowding. The food is amazing, especially the dinnertime menu. Staff are all friendly and helpful. It's in a great area to go out and about (night time included). Overall a fantastic little hotel - would totally recommend 100%

It’s a nice hotel with regards to the rooms, pool areas, eating areas, and lounging areas. It felt clean and tidy. For dinner you can choose between the buffet and the á la carte. A lot of the food is quite westernized. The buffet felt safe, but not too exciting. The á la carte was very good! The staff are friendly, but only some of them are service oriented, not all. There are several smaller things that combined landed us on a 3/5. When we arrived, they couldn’t find our booking. We had to make some calls and the whole thing felt a little uncomfortable. After things got sorted out they told us it was their own system that messed up. Two days in a row we were asked to sign a bill for the minibar, although we hadn’t used it. We told them no both times and they x’ed out the bill. When we checked out the last day, we asked to go through all the bills with them. We then found out that they had included the bill from the minibar, even though we hadn’t signed it. The area down by the beach is very nice. They provide you towels, and there’s no fighting over the beds. At least not outside of the high-season. A few of the staff at the beach were helpful and friendly. Yet others made us feel like we bothered them when asking for drinks or food. As guests, that could make it quite uncomfortable.

I'll be totally honest. My heart dropped when the taxi said we were at the hotel. Until the gate opened. Great staff, so helpful. Room with a view. Food was excellent, house keeping available any time. Cleanliness was outstanding. The four pools are maintained to an extremely high standard. TheBeach wasn't as I expected. It's only a short walk but it's not the most scenic walk. This hotel is NOT on the beach. Private beach is small but everything is provided for you, from sun beds to towels, waiter service (Ali was wonderful). Plenty of entertainment. Young groups of dancers showing off their tumbling skills. Men selling coconuts, shoes you name it someone will want to sell you something. Very different culture. But every one is so helpful from staff to anyone you meet. They cannot do enough for you. For me it was definitely a lazy beach holiday but there are plenty of tours to go on which can be booked at the hotel. Most cost $50. The choice is yours. Would most definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.
