Beautiful place to stay! Fun for the children. Nice area at night for adults to eat dinner and drink. Very good service

This is the place to stay in Pailin. The resort is lovely, the owners are lovely and the food is great. The bungalows are very large and with picture windows very well appointed. Good bed and bedding. And Pailin province is a gem, really beautiful.

I stayed in this hotel for one night during a cycling tour. The room was clean and comfortable. There was no telephone in the room (I wanted to call the front desk for a wakeup call). The television was not working. The property was somewhat run-down. The shower did provide consistent hot water. I did not get to explore the region as we got the hotel in the evening, ate dinner, went to bed, and then woke up to start pedaling to the next hotel. I can only base this review on the few hours I was there. If all you want is a clean place to sleep for a few hours this hotel is OK. If you are looking for something a little more luxurious with amenities this may not be for you. It must be a popular spot for cycling tours because in the few hours we were there three other tour groups pulled up to spend the night.

As a regular visitor to Pailin my wife and I normally stay at the 'Bamboo' and are always very satisfied with the price, accommodation and an excellent restaurant. Unfortunately the Bamboo is closed for refurbishment and thus we're staying at the Memoria Palace It's a disappointment -'Rustic but very aged and in need of a facelift' - Check-in was a shambles. The room is OK except for the toilet is blocked and remains so following repairs, ditto with the lock for the room - Key wouldn't work and the repair was unsuccessful . The restaurant mediocre at best was a big disappointing - the breakfast (included in the price was unappetising, coffee luke work etc etc. We'll not be back!
