Bay Cabinz Motel

The location is excellent, close to the wharf, ferry, shops, and town center. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, cozy atmosphere, and helpful staff with great communication skills.

My wife and I stayed at Bay Cabinz for three nights as a base to explore The Bay of Islands. It proved to be the perfect location. Our host Ali was brilliant. Acted as the point of contact when our luggage failed to arrive on our flight with us. She called us when the luggage eventually arrived and kept it safe while we explored the town. The accommodation is perfect very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The shower was really good, plenty of complementary tea/coffee, a lovely balcony area with an amazing view. Ali was available to help with any of our enquiries and made great recommendations for food venues, bars and trips. We were let down by local taxis for our return transfer to the airport and Ali got up at 04:30 to take us and ensure we got our flight. Book your transfers in advance, you will not save anything by waiting until you get there to book. We loved our time there and it was a highlight of our 3 weeks touring NZ.

Lovely hosts, great location which was a quick walk to Ferry and i site, stunning room with all of the amenities, beautiful surround, good views, fair price, great communication. I had asked to leave my car parked at the place of accomadation after check out for a day trip to The Hole in the Rock, Otehei Bay and Russel via Ferry, as there was a free park, they were happy to oblige and even called to check I was okay as I hasn't arrived back by 9pm at night to pick up my car. Also I left some things behind and they had no hassle sending them to my home address for me via post. Will 100% stay again. Look no further, this is the place or stay!
