It was a pleasure to spend the weekend at this lovely guesthouse! The new owners, Jay and Christine, have clearly put a lot of effort into creating a beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming space that perfectly complements the sea breeze and relaxed holiday atmosphere. The location is very close to the beach, as well as numerous restaurants, bars, parks, and attractions. There are also plenty of museums and other tourist sites nearby - the booklet stand was really helpful! A special shout-out to the delicious breakfasts, with a great variety of options and an easy pre-order system the night before. Definitely will be staying again and would highly recommend it! 🩵🌊⚓️

Fantastic stay at Torbay Guest House in Paignton! Just a 2-minute walk to the beach where we watched the sun rise over the sea, the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating but not over the top and left us alone to feel like we were at home. We stayed in the Blue Room which was spotless, beautifully decorated to our taste, and so well kitted out — fridge, kettle, plenty of tea,coffee, biscuits and lots of thoughtful extras. Everything we could possibly need for a weekend stay was there! Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paignton.

Lack of toilets and absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Room was comfortable and clean but basic and for someone with medical conditions that lack of any toilets was troubling plus from what I could make out the whole establishment had no toilets, I had to use the public toilets. If there was toilets I was unable to find them and there wasn’t absolutely no one available to assist or help.

My stay at Torbay Guesthouse was absolutely perfect. The place is spotless, peaceful, and ideally located—just a 5-minute walk from the seafront and about 15 minutes from the town centre. James went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, resolving any minor issues straight away. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully arranged—you can choose your cooked breakfast the night before, and there’s also a great selection of cereals, fruit, and yoghurts. I especially appreciated the convenient laundry service, available for a small fee, which saved me the hassle of finding a laundrette. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Torbay Guesthouse to anyone visiting the area.

The husband and i booked a last minute break to Torbay Guesthouse and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. From the moment we arrived, the owners James and Christine along with their family welcomed us into their gorgeous B & B. Our room was bright, clean and so comfy. There was no noise from other guests and we enjoyed some of the best sleep we’ve both had in a long time. Breakfast here is definitely something to rave about, the cooked option was incredible and would recommend to every guest staying here it’s cooked to order but but must be booked the night before. There is also a great selection of cereal’s, breads, teas, coffees and juices are all available. Thanks again guys, we can’t wait to come back for longer ☺️
