The hosts at Barclay Guest House were wonderful. We stayed for 9 days the rooms were very clean and the bed linen and towels changed twice more during that time. Breakfast was great!!! Steve & Lynn are very a pleasant and approachable couple. We would recommend this Guest house it’s very close to all amenities and we are thinking about returning next year as we were made very comfortable. Thank you.

Lovely room,very clean.Large single bed.Tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was great. Cereals and full english breakfast.Great location 3 minute walk into paington. Parking available off street. Steve&Lyn were very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay Steve and Lynn are fantastic hosts, better than most big hotels I have ever stayed in. Lovely spacious room very clean and tidy as was the en suite bathroom with a good shower, breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. My wife and I would definitely recommend staying here, one minute walk to beach, pier and main shopping area, two minutes walk to mainline train station and bus station with steam train station next door to the mainline station. The Barclay is a great place to base yourself if you wish to visit the surrounding Devon area or just wish to stay in Paignton. Thanks to Steve and Lyn for looking after my wife and I Richard and Sharon from Watford.👍

Had a lovely break at The Barclay guest house Paignton. Steve and lyn are lovely people who made us very welcome. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Had breakfast each day, there was a good choice and everything was very nice. Would 100% stay again

Lynne and steve were very friendly and helpful they provide an excellent service without being intrusive. The food was excellent always hot and plentiful. They could not do enough for your comfort. Will definitely be going back

Booked 5 rooms for family. Highly recommend. Very well managed by friendly owners. Spotlessly clean. Attention to detail. Location is excellent. Breakfast was perfect. Small fridge on landing with cold bottles of water. Plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and toiletries provided in the room. We all enjoyed our stay and would like to return. Thank you!

A great place to stay in Paignton within easy walking distance of the beach, pier, harbour, town, bus & railway stations. The place is lovely and clean. The breakfast is plentiful. Steve & Lyn are really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this guest house to anyone.

Just returned from a week at the Barclay guest house. Steve and Lyn were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The guest house was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The guest house itself is situated in an ideal spot close to the pier and beach, the main street and the town centre. The harbour is a short stroll away. Paignton is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area. We would highly recommend a stay at the barclay guest house.
